The demon giggles sillily. "Hullo master Tavros."

He pet the other softly. "you comfortable?"

"Very. How about you?"

"I'm rather comfortable..." he said simply.

A woman suddenly walked in the room. A woman with the same hair and eyes as Tavros. She smiled at the crippled child, then gave Gamzee a curious look.

"mom!!!" Tavros exclaimed. "I thought you weren't going to be home until tomorrow!!"

She smiled at her son. "I didn't want to let you know exactly when. We needed the surprise!" She hugged him. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, this is Gamzee!" he smiled at his mother. "he's a really good friend of mine."

She gave Tavros a mischievous look. "A friend huh?" She sat on Tavros' bed.

He nodded. "mhm! He was my first friend at school!!"

Gamzee seemed a bit unnerved by the fact that he was there, squirming a bit in Tavros' lap.

Tavros just stroked the other's hair. "Say hi"

"Hullo mrs. Nitram.." His face turned a bit purple making her frown. "Is he ok...?"

"O-oh..." Tavros noticed the blush. "He's okay, promise.."

Tavros' father walked over and kissed his wife, also sitting on the bed. He pointed at Gamzee. "That's Gamzee. He's kind of like Tavros' pet...his demon..." She seemed confused. "Demon....?" She seemed a bit unsure of how to feel. "Does he not have a family...? We can't be charged for kidnapping can we?" Gamzee shook his head. "No, no. Since I'm a demon, I have no records and technically don't exist."

Tavros hugged Gamzee. "Well, you do exist. So there." He looked up at his mother. "You... um, don't mind he's here right?"

Gamzee smiled at Tavros. "Yep. I do." Mrs. Nitram was quick to shake her head. "Of coarse I don't mind. As long as you take good care of him."

He nodded. "I'll treat him just like I'd treat anyone else staying with us!"

She smiled. "It's good that you have a friend sweetie..." She walked out and came back in with a large box. It was wrapped with a large bow on it.

Tavros looked at the box. "What is that?"

His mother giggled softly. "Why don't you open it?"

Tavros looked at the box then reached over to open it up.

Inside of the box was a pair of prosthetic legs, almost robotic looking. "We'll have to get surgery to put them on." She declared.

His eyes widened. "H-holy cow mom.... That must have been a fortune..."

She seemed excited. "I know it's been awful with me being gone so much, but I've gotten extra pay in the service since ive been promoted."
