His head continued to throb and nodded as he listened to her speak. "I remember trying to warn you but you were so excited we found it." Kazura said softly as he held her hand. "No. But you don't need to go if you don't want to." He said softly and looked at her face. The ice lord was not sure if he could completely trust her or not but so far what she told him was true.

"I just...I don't want you to feel uncomfortable... I would do anything just to have things the way they used to be... but also I don't want to push... take your time getting to trust and remember me again... but if it's what you want for me to be close to you I will stay close... as close as you want." Piper explained softly and you could tell the only thing that was on her mind was making sure that he was well and happy... even if it meant her own mental and emotional stress.

He listened to her and could sense the emotion in her voice. "Piper..." For some reason, Kazura pulled her into his arms again and hugged her tight. "Thank you for your kindness. I understand that it can be painful when the one you feel is one sided. But if what you say is true, please, give me time." The ice lord said in a cold breath on her ear.

"I will... I've been waiting five years, even if I had the spend the rest of my life waiting I would." Piper said softly giving Kazura a soft but loving hug. She felt like she wanted to cry really... but at the same time she didn't... she didn't want him to feel anymore awkward then he already did.

Kazura looked at her and could sense the tears welling up in her eyes. "Please, don't cry. I never could stand it." He said softly and felt like kissing her for some reason but held back as his head told him to think like a lord. His hands stayed on her back as he tried to calm himself and her. "I want to remember. I hate knowing I might be missing something important."

"You... you must already be remembering some things..." Piper said softly as she looked at him but couldn't help letting a few tears pass her eyes as she hugged him. "I know... but I promise I will help you in whatever way I can." she said softly still trying to calm her nerves so she didn't start really crying. She was upset that he had lost his memories, but happy that he still loved her it seemed... or cared about her at least... and happy that he was starting to remember things.

His eyes stayed on her as he nodded and rubbed her back. "I do. Some memories have returned to me since meeting you. You have given me now reason to not trust you." Kazura closed his eyes as he held her to him and let her cry. "You have already proven that, dear Piper." He said softly before a knock came to Kazura's door.

Piper couldn't help but smile as she looked up at him softly. She then looked over to the door and knew that if it wasn't Lazuros this would look very odd

He smiled at her before looking to the door and started to separate himself from her. "Let me get that." Kazura said to her softly as he moved towards the door. "Who is it?" His eyes went to the door as he placed his hand to the door handle.

"It's me, my lord. I can to report in on an incident this morning." Lazarus' voice said as he stood in front of the door.

Piper looked over to Lazuros and gave him a slight smile then wondered some if he was going to come in the room or not. She had already told Kazura what was going on but she was sure that Lazuros had found something else out about it... like who had magic and maybe why they were trying to kill the ice lord.

Kazura opened the door so Lazarus could walk and smiled back at Piper. "How was your breakfast, my lord?" Lazarus asked as he turned to look at Kazura. "Eventful but it seems you and Piper have had a busier morning." The lord said as he walked over to his seat and looked at the pair. He put his up most trust in his friends to remain friends not enemies and hoped his trust would not be broken.

"Yes, very. We found that two maids knew magic and are being forced to remove seals placed containers of poison found in the kitchen by Miss Piper."

Piper blushed just a little giving a slight smile. "I'm just glad I could help and make sure that Kazura was okay." she said honestly and softly before going and sitting back where she had been sitting before wondering slightly how many had actually been using the poison and how many just knew about it.

Lazarus walked over to the table and stood there near his lord. Kazura noticed the blush on Piper's face from Lazarus' words and looked at the pair. "Sentence the two magic users to be encased in ice. And the rest shall be imprisoned." The lord said as he looked down at the table as he rubbed his head. He grew worried if he could trust anyone in this world anymore. Anger grew with this worry as he saw how friendly Lazarus and Piper were.

"Hey are you okay Kazura?" Piper asked softly and worriedly hoping he was... he looked rather upset or bothered by something but she couldn't tell what.

He looked at her and looked away as he closed his eyes. "I'm fine." Kazura said before standing and walking over to the windows. "Anything else, Lazarus?" The second jumped a bit at the coldness of his lord's words and shook his head. "No, my lord." Lazarus bowed and started to leave the room. Kazura stood at the window as he sighed.

Piper was surprised then looked at Lazuros worriedly before going over to Kazura and looked at him softly when the other male had left. "Are you sure you're okay?... if... if you want I'll leave." she said softly only want what was best for him... and for now that was to get him comfortable with her again.

His eyes went to Piper as she spoke to him and sighed. "I don't know. I have never felt this emotion as far as I can remember." Kazura scowled as he slammed his hand against the window and watched it crack. "I don't like how you and Lazarus act when you're together...it makes me doubt myself. And I don't like it."

Piper smiled softly before taking the hand that he had rammed into the window and looked at him softly. "It's ookay it's normal... it's called jelousy, but there's no need for you to feel it because me and Lazuros are just friends... he's the one that asked me to try and bring you back to how you used to be... he's been your best friend for a long time... even before I had ever met you... he's kinda been like one of my friends as well but we don't really know each other so there's nothing to worry about okay." she explained softly before touching his cheek softly hoping to get him to look at her.

Kazura felt her take his hand and listened to her as he tried to calm down. "I still feel it. I don't know if I can trust anyone without a full memory. " He said, looking at her and showing her the sadness in his eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, either. This just pisses me off more that I can't remember."

"It will come to you I promise. If you want we could do some of the things we used to do together... like we often walked through gardens or forests when we weren't busy with business... we also liked to watch movies together." Piper said softly with a smile hoping he liked the idea.

The ice lord looked at her as she spoke and smiled slightly. "I hope so." Kazura thought for a moment and nodded as he took her hand. "A walk sounds good." He said to her and covered her hand with his. His hand held onto hers as they stood there together. The robe Kazura wore was mostly open showing his pale chest as he looked at her. "Should we go?"

"Yes we shall." Piper smiled slightly as they walked out of the room and headed to where the gardens were... it was different then when she had been there before but it didn't matter... so long as she was with him she didn't care.

He nodded and followed behind her towards the gardens were they had walked often. "So this was our place was it?" Kazura asked as he pulled his robe around him although he was used to the cold. "Why do you like the gardens so much?" The lord asked as he looked around at the flowers.

"No... 'our place' is a bit deeper where no one can get to it." Viper smiled as she lead him to one side of the garden and took her hand from his and felt for a moment on the seemingly thick wall of stone and ivy. Suddenly it rattled and shook and then moved apart revealing an archway of midnight and ice roses... Piper's favorite. she then looked at Kazura and smiled. "Come on it's this way." she smiled easily offereing him her hand.

His eyes stayed on her as she lead him through the garden towards a wall. The ice lord watched as the wall moved to show an archway and smiled a bit. "A favorite flower of yours?" He asked as he inspected the roses and took her hand.
