He looked up at the door and walked over to the door. Kazura opened it slightly and saw it was Piper before opening it all the way. His eyes went back to the table and sat down. The ice lord sighed as he rubbed his head and closed his eyes. "What have you brought for lunch today?" He asked before looking to the food she brought. "Are you joining me for this meal?"

"Stew." Piper smiled then looked at Kazura thinking some. "If you wouldn't mind... but if you don't want me too that's okay." she said softly and kindly.

Kazura looked at her and nodded. "Stew sounds lovely. So does company." He said before standing and pulling out a chair for her. "Come and sit with me, please."

Piper smiled happily and sat down. "So if you don't mind me asking... what was going on earlier?" she asked since it seemed really important.

His eyes went to her as he sat down beside her and shook his head. "I will tell you after I eat. Since I refused breakfast I would like to eat my lunch first." Kazura said as he looked down at the table. He seemed to be deep in thought before starting to eat the food that was brought to him.

"That's perfectly fine." Piper said softly before she also started to eat. She had put spices in her stew along with a bit of hot sauce... she was pretty sure that Kazura still didn't really care for spicy foods... but she couldn't be sure to be honest.

He started to eat and sipped his glass of water. Kazura sat there and looked up at her. "It's a bit spicy for my taste." His eyes went to the stew as he continued to eat the food she made for him.

"That's odd... I didn't put any spices in your stew..." Piper said softly and rather unsure... his shouldn't have been spicy at all... maybe she had accidentally put black pepper in it or something...

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. A little heat never hurt anyone." Kazura smiled at her as he took another bite. His eyes on the table as he thought about what unfolded earlier.

Pipper smiled some and nodded before she continued to eat and soon had finished her bowel and then finished her drink. She placed her dishes back on the tray and waited for Kazura to finish so she could take his dishes as well.

His eyes closed as he finished his food and pushed his dishes away. Kazura sighed a little as he sat there for a moment. "Another war is starting to mount....apparently my memory loss makes our nation weak. Someone wants to take over my place..."

Piper cleaned up the table a bit before she heard was he said and almost felt sick. "Kazura... you can't let them do that... before you lead this land you were in a very high rank in the military... if you step out of power they'll want you back in the military... I... I can't let you do that." she said quietly feeling a lump rising in her throat and really didn't want him to go back into the military... she wouldn't be able to go with him this time... she still wasn't strong enough to handle combat or training.

He watched her clean up the dishes before she started to, honestly, freak out. "Piper...please, calm down." Kazura said softly as he stood and sat her back down in a chair. "I won't let them do this. Not without a fight. But this idea is starting to gain ground." His eyes stayed on Piper as he rubbed her back softly. "Just relax."

"I'm okay Kazura... I'm just scared... I don't want you to go back because I don't want to loose you I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you." Piper said softly looking up at Kazura with soft sad eyes. She didn't mean to seem like she was freaking out... she just wouldn't be able to go on if he died and she wasn't there to help him so he wouldn't die.

Kazura nodded and held her hand as he looked at her. "I am scared, too." He said nothing about losing her because he wasn't sure of his feelings for her. "Lazarus and I are talking things out with the other members of my council. We will find a way to prevent this." His eyes stayed on her as he tried to help her relax.

"Okay... I'm sorry... it just scares me... I don't want anything bad to happen to you is all." Piper said softly knowing he still didn't feel the same about her as before... but that didn't stop her from worrying.

((No, he is just not sure of his feelings at the moment. Kazura is comfortable with her but he's not sure if he loves her.))

His eyes stayed on her as he nodded. "I know. But we will get through this." Kazura said as he looked to the windows of his office. "I brought this place a long way. The castle was already here but...a lot of my life has been spent preserving this place. And the lives of so many people..."

"Yes... this land was almost in disarray when you first came here... and now it's one of the most peaceful places in the words... but others don't like peace it seems... for they always try to take the peace from us." Piper said softly. "It's not your fault that this has come about... it was bound to start again anyway no matter how strong the contry was." she said softly and honestly just hoping to at least make him feel a little better.

He nodded and smiled a little at her words. "Thank you, Piper. I just hope that peace will win against the rebellion." Kazura looked at Piper and rubbed her back as he smiled. "Don't worry. I will find a way to keep the peace." His eyes closed as he held onto Piper.

"You don't need to thank me." Piper said softly then smiled happily at his words and him holding her close. She laid her head on his chest softly and closed her eyes lightly seeming really happy just being close to him

Kazura held onto her as he rubbed her back. "I do. You have saved my life and brought back memories of my past." He said softly to her. His mind and heart both felt at ease as he sat there with her.

Piper smiled as she looked up at him and kissed him lightly on the cheek. She wished that he could just completely return to the person he used to be... but she knew that would take some time and until then she would stay close as she could to him and show him that someone loved him and cared about him.

His eyes went to her as she kissed him on the cheek and a slight blush appeared. Kazura cleared his throat and looked away from her as he started to let go of her. "I have some more work to do. Please, go and do some chores or prepare dinner." He said as he looked away from her.

"Okay, if you need anything just give me a call" Piper smiled before she left him to his work and went to help clean around the house and made sure there was nothing else in the house that could really harm Kazura like poison or anything like that.

He sat there at his desk for the longest time and looked at the reports on his desk as he tried to think. Kazura sighed and looked out at the land he fought so hard to protect. His memories were lost after saving this land from battle and financial collapse. The man opened his drawer and pulled out the bracelet he treasured and stroked it as he thought,

After a few hours, Kazura left his office to go for a walk around the castle. He found himself walking towards the kitchen.
