The purple crown is part of the Crown of Hearts Event item from last year's V-day I think. :3

Nice people tend to stick together. I've seen some pretty rough around the edges and burnt on the inside horrible people already on this site. I mean it's just ridiculous. Arguing/fighting/whining. I don't even know how people get so ill over pixels. Or calling people names. XD Silly crazy people. I enjoy talking to people more than anything on this site. <3 Making friends is the best.

It wasn't anything I experienced. Well except one time that I got a PM that said I was an ugly newb and that I had zero taste in clothing and I should leave the site. XD They had signed up the same day. Probably one of the Gaia greeders. I left that site 4 yrs ago because of the people on there. And It's like the new people that ask for clothes or whatever. :P Um, it's called games. Post, be friendly :] You'll work your way up to the top just like everyone else did.

Yeah I am an impulse buyer, hence the reason I chunk my gold on my mulee or else I'll spend it. XD I've gone through all of the items (CI's and EI's) and I've only got like 10-11 that I REALLY like, but I'm sure here in another couple of months they others will grow on me and so will my lsit. XD haha That's okay though, I'm not here to gather stuff. I'm here to be part of a community, and make friends/have amazing conversations. Possibly learn some things that help in real life. <3

@ Delish: Haha, on Gaia inflation went up so fast I couldn't bear to save up 100k. By the time I made 100k for whatever item I wanted the price was already up to 120 lol. Glad that doesn't happen here as much.

The public transport is okay... I'm just lucky I live in an area with a great train service.

And i'm so pooped. I applied for Lovisa. And it just took forever. *shakes fist* They better read it. Some of the questions were like "provide an example of where you provided excellent customer service".. I thought they were interview questions. D;

Oh.. the silly "rate yourself on these categories on a scale of 1-5" questions. As if anyone who actually wants the job wouldn't answer those questions in a way that makes them a more desirable candidate. [rolleyes]
Sometimes I feel like companies try really hard to exclude people with no past job experience. But I find that it helps to submit an application even if you do not necessarily meet the requirements as long as you can show that you are able to do the job; and sometimes you just gotta BS some stuff.

And yeah.. without public transportation I'd be so screwed. o_o; I considered getting a job in the big city near where I live but it's a good hours train ride.. and there are some creepy people there at times. D:

Risque, are you referring to the strange moral questionnaire. "If you take a pencil home from work, is that considered stealing?" Some of those questions are ridiculous. Flink has no problem passing that part. With her current job, her hurdle at first was the roleplaying. Instead of using the computer you have to write it out and since Flink's left-handed, she writes slooow. She can type over 100 wpm... writing it's more like ten if she wants it legible.

Tons of places use the "Give an example of when you." For one Flink had to put, before she got job experience, how she diffused the situation of a woman being angry her daughter, whom Flink babysat, made Flink her pretend friend. So, when Flink wasn't around, the little girl pretended she was. O.o

Hey Flink, that moral questionnaire sounds really odd. :O I wonder why they made you write it out. I'm sure it'd be a lot easier on them and you, if they had just made it digital. ;p

And yeah, I don't like the give an example ones very much. Luckily, I only got one of them. BUT it asked about how I had provided an outstanding customer experience, and since I haven't had any job experience... It was awkward to answer. I just put down that I hadn't had a job before, but gave an example of great customer service I had witnessed.

Job hunting can be stressful, try not to let it get to you. Most often when you don't hear back, it's not that it's you, it's just they have so many people apply and usually stop on the first person they find who is passable.

Have you tried temp agencies or places that help find jobs? Craigslist is good, too, actually.

I've been looking on Seek, but it's been annoying. The only places with jobs, seem to be the ones that are looking for night shift workers, or ones that will be at least an hours train ride away.. So I just don't apply. :\ Also, I don't want to work at fast food restaurants...

@ Flink: Yeah, I was talking about those silly morality questions. Anyone with half a brain would already know the correct answer, so I don't think it's really necessary to waste the applicants time with such trivial stuff. xD

Oh Flink, I an left handed too. I tend to sacrifice writing accuracy for speed.. so I can write fast, but it all gets smudged and my "w"s look like "m"s and two "v"s and whatnot. *nod*

@ Greed: If you do web design you could just study more and try to do freelance work. o: You don't wanna deal with customers, seriously. xD
