Yeah. I've always been super sensitive about my weight and weight gain. I'm at 159 lb now and it's just about to drive me insane. I've dropped 15 lbs since January 1st, but just. UGH. It makes me angry.

@ DR: Aww, that's a shame about the Walmart. I thought they were going to try and hire more people too? And now all this self checkout business just means that more people are going to lose their jobs. ): I think that if anything Wal mart needs more people at checkout. One at the register and one to bag stuff. It takes waaaay too long to check out at walmart last I remember. Well.. last time I went was during New Year's Eve, but still it was ridiculous. like a half hour wait just to get out of there.

I have always had a fast metabolism.. so I do not struggle with weight. :x

I hope the someday your wifey's parents will be okay with it. The whole denial and anger part shall pass, even if it takes forever. ._.

Risque; yea it's pretty sad. They say it's not going to hurt the hiring process or our hours but I really really doubt that. Our hours have already been cut back almost in half. It's a smaller town that most places, so it's not too big of a deal with waiting. We never have cashiers though because they cut hours. IT's not even a supercenter. XD Walmart is just a horrible monopoly of power. i really hate the company but it really is the cheapest place to get things, not to mention, I have to have a job. :P Not too many options here where I live,.

God i'm so tired for some reason. Why is it so hot :( makes me drowsy

Not really, basically people just call me diaveborn or diave and that's awesome, and diva sometimes when they're reading fast which is a bit less awesome, haha. It's very nice of you to ask! I'm afraid that if I asked the same of you I wouldn't remember because my sleepyallthetimehead doesn't remember stuff very well, but I would definitely try!

@ DR: How unfortunate. I have met quite a few people on the internet who live in smaller towns where wal mart has come in and absolutely monopolized everything. It's such a sad thing to see. D:

In other news, I hate dealing with ignorant people on the internet. I can't out-logic or out-reason ignorant people. D:

It has done quite a bit of damage, but even though walmart is here, it hasn't been here but for 4 yrs and most people still buy from the little farmers markets (which I go to every sunday, oh my gosh it's wonderful, fresh foods/veggies/fruits) And smaller stores such as piggly wiggly and the town meat cutters ^^ Honestly I don't think the walmart here will last very long. They've been talking about moving it to the town beside us which is growing like a weed and full of mean people. :P I hate that town, I hate the fact that the book store is there. XD Hell it's so small here there is ONE school and it's K-12 <3 Well there is a Christian school too but it's private.

I'm glad to hear that the community worked hard to keep walmart from getting it's death grips on the town. XD and yeah, walmart can pike off to the next town over, cause you guys don't want them anyways. :P

X] We sure don't want it here. I moved here 3 yrs ago, and my wifey grew up here her WHOLE life. :] It's a whole different life here. I grew up in a big city in Florida, where the population was ridiculously through the roof and there was 6 walmarts in my city. I don't miss it. Just the beach. I miss the crashing of the waves, the seagulls, the soft sand. But we go on vacation there a few times a year, and I adore it here. It's such a great place to one day start a family.
