Yeah, I just mean that if you're within conversation range with others it may confuse them is all.
Having a quieter voice is probably a perk in that case.
I think for the most part from studying body language (as I don't understand it), people usually ignore you unless you are looking at them. Some form of cue that you're speaking to them.

I think that, if it helps Ava to talk out loud to the voices, that she should do it wherever she feels she needs to...but, maybe in a soft and subdued voice while in public.
Maybe she could put a fake Bluetooth phone in her ear...and people would think she was talking on the phone! ...I see that all the time!...what looks like someone talking to themself until I spy the gadget in their ear!
I think that this ability for Ava to talk to the voices and have them respond to it is real progress!

Ooh a bluetooth is a genius idea Inzane :D
Yes definitely progress. And it sounds like they've calmed down since.
Whatever she's doing definitely keep doing it.

I could do that ,IGuess :)
I have a very soft voice so most of the time people can't hear me talk anyway
And I always avoid eye contact with people

I think one of the perks of that being a product now, is that people used to think people were "crazy", but with modern technology it's changed to "do they have an earpiece in"
But that's usually the people loudly talking out in the streets not quietly mumbling to themselves.
Eye contact eck... I hate eye contact... I avoid it as much as I can.
I just hope eventually as time goes on schizophrenia, bipolar, autism, and other such things stop being seen so negatively.

I like eye contact with people,
I can see int o their souls and I feel as though their minds are much easier to read when you look into someone's eyes
I don't like looking into people's eyes in public because the voices get much louder when I make eye contact with certain people because it feels like I am reading their minds and then their thoughts are coming into my mind and then if they are thinking of someone else's thoughts then the thoughts are coming into ym head too
thank god for autocorrect on my new laptop :D
without it you guys probably wouldn't ve able to understand me :)
I hope that schizophrenia has a cure someday :(

I used to good with eye contact when I was young and living in a small town...but when I moved to a big city and I made eye contact I would be looked at like "What the hell are YOU looking at!"...so I became conditioned to avoid eye contact.

Ava - It seems like that doesn't it? There are a lot of cues that you can recognize through eye contact.
Seems odd that the voices react to eye contact. I wonder if perhaps that's because of all the social cues the eyes have.

My grandma used to make me look her right in the eyes when she thought I was fibbing to her. She said she could see it in my eyes if I was lying. It must have been true because she could always tell if I wasn't telling her the whole truth.

There are specific ways your eyes move when you are lying so it's likely true.

It's really easy to tell if a kid is lying though. They tend to squirm

Ouch :(
I still find nails in my floor from time to time after 20 years. Even in parts of my path that I've walked for years.

I am (not) looking forward to a double open bypass surgery on Tuesday.
...and to think that the docs wanted to discharge me without an angioplasty test...after being told I was scheduled for said test, then told I didn't need the test...and my heart rate ranging from 45 to 130 beats per minute!
I'm pretty glad I put up a fuss and made them give me the angioplasty test...where they discovered multiple occlusions that can't be stented.
Now I'm pretty scared about having this surgery...not to mention the lengthy recovery time! Ugh!
