Tony nodded and got up, stretching. "Alright, then, let's get going." He grinned and headed out of the lab with his notes and Ninetails.

Maeve nodded and recalled Chandelure, letting Gardevoir follow behind her as she followed Tony.

Tony went back down to his lab to work. Ninetails kept track of him, while Rotom floated into a computer to make faces at his back.

Maeve perched on a bit of table space again, just watching him work. She was curious, but she didn't get any closer; Gardevoir did that for her. The entire Ralts evolutionary line was known for their unusually close emotional bonds to their trainers, so Gardevoir was feeling Maeve curiosity and acting on it.

Tony let the pokemon move closer, shooting her a quick grin before he went back to testing things. Only another few hour of work and it would be ready.

Maeve grinned a bit.

"I can just hear the other techs now," she teased. "'Someone call boss-man, Rotom's running around the labs again!'" She waved her hands around to simulate panic.

Tony laughed. "Yeah, but at least with this it'll be easier to herd him out of a room," he pointed out. "Besides, he'll be the happiest Rotom in the world with this."

"No kidding," Maeve said, grinning. "An entire robot all to himself. All the other Rotoms out there would be jealous if they knew."

Tony grinned. "Hey, maybe I'll make it into a thing," he said. "If Rotom likes it, maybe I should offer to build more for other Rotoms."

"That could be interesting," Maeve admitted. "That could be very interesting."

Tony nodded. "Yeah, that's what I figured." He grinned. "Would make them easier to look after, too."

"This is true," Maeve agreed. "What are you planning on making next?"

Tony shrugged. "Not sure. I'm thinking about working on a way to let pokemon fly, but Pepper keeps trying to talk me out of it."

"About a quarter of the species out there can fly anyways," Maeve pointed out. "And the ones that don't usually don't for a reason."

"Yes, but you also pointed out to me that even though I can go flying it's not as much fun because my pokemon can't really come out with me," Tony said with a grin.

"Touche," Maeve admitted. She looked at him. "But are Ninetails really meant to fly?" She grinned a bit. "Just imagine all the tangles in all that fur afterwards."

Tony snickered. "It'll be amusing if nothing else," he pointed out, still grinning. "You know you'd want to see that at least once."

"Maybe," Maeve admitted, fighting back a grin. "I can't imagine Lucario would be good with flying, though."

"Probably not," Tony admitted with a grin. "It would have to be on a per-pokemon basis."

"It could still be an interesting idea," Maeve said. "At least, once you figure out how to make it work."

"And that is the hard part." Tony shrugged. "That just means it'll be a long-term, interesting project."

"I look forward to seeing what you come up with," Maeve said. "I bet it'll be amazing."

Tony grinned at the praise, preening for a few moments. "Well, we'll see how long it takes me."

"Two weeks to rough out the initial working prototype," Maeve estimated promptly, grinning.

Tony laughed. "I'll let you know as soon as I've got a prototype." He found that he rather liked having her around the lab.
