"He says he doesn't appreciate it, by the way, but he's still stumped as to how the video seemingly came out of South Africa." Maeve grinned widely.

Tony grinned. "Good work by Julie. Smart of her." He was still far too pleased. "I should give her something for that."

"I'm sure she'd love a new toy to play with," Maeve said. "Although you already gave her a Vulpix, there's really no topping that."

"No, there's not, but that was two years overdue," Tony said with a shrug. "I'll figure something out while we're here to give to her."

"Just try not to make my job any harder," Maeve said. "I do have to keep an eye on you both, after all. Can't have you scheming behind my back."

Tony grinned. "Oh don't worry, I won't get you into trouble. You're one of the few people from SHIELD I like, after all."

"Good to know," Maeve replied, grinning. She stretched a bit and sighed. "Well, for the moment, at least, we're off the hook."

Tony grinned and left the back door open. "I wonder where Steve and Julie wandered off to." He knew they weren't down in the lab, that was still restricted.

Maeve poked her head back outside to look around.

"On the beach," she said. "I think Eevee and Vulpix are wrestling, so Julie and Steve are watching."

Tony snorted. "Good, it's about time someone got use of the beach." He glanced outside as well. "Want to go join them?"

Maeve considered for a moment, and then nodded.

"Sure," she said. "Let me go change. This is the perfect opportunity to get a bit of sun."

Tony snorted but gave her time, instead going to gather up his group, because he knew Ninetails would love lounging in the sun for a while. He even waited for Maeve to come back so he could show her the staircase that led down to the beach.

Maeve changed quickly, going back down to the main room in her bathing suit and a wrap around her waist, a towel over her arm.

"Ready," she said.

Tony nodded and led the way down to the beach, Ninetails and Lucario following him. He did have to grin when he saw the other two.

"Vulpix, no biting. I told you, this is fun wrestling, not a competition." Julie frowned at her pokemon before her attention was caught by Electrike. "Electrike, no, Arcanine is not a climbing tree! Get down and stop scrambling on him! How in the world did I end up with such brats?" She glowered at Electrike, who'd made it up to Arcanine's back, before she looked at Steve. "I am so, so sorry."

Steve couldn't help but chuckle.

"Don't worry about it," he said. "He doesn't mind." Arcanine just gave an indulgent sort of 'hrff' and settled down there, letting Electrike play.

Maeve followed Tony down to the beach scoping out a good spot to sun herself for a bit. Gardevoir followed just long enough to get to the beach before heading over to help Julie with Vulpix and Electrike.

Electrike managed a puppy growl before finding a suitable spot in Arcanine's mane from which to survey the world from his much higher vantage point. Julie face-palmed.

"Gardevoir, remind me to make treats for you later," she said to the pokemon after a few moments.

Tony snorted and let Ninetails settle in first before he sat down in front of the pokemon, using him as back rest. Ninetails huffed but allowed it.

Steve settled in next to Arcanine in the same way, getting comfortable and relaxing.

Maeve laid out in the sun for a little while, just relaxing for a bit. Once she felt like she'd had sufficient sun for the moment, she got up and wandered over to the others.

By that point, Vulpix and Eevee had gotten bored of wrestling, and Julie had been forced to sit and lounge, Altaria next to her and Vulpix in her lap demanding love and attention. Julie looked tolerantly amused.

Tony didn't quite nap, but he did relax for a while, a few of Ninetails' tails in his lap.

"So Coulson still isn't sure how the videos made it into the SHIELD systems," Maeve commented to Julie after a moment. "You did good with those."

Julie grinned broadly. "Oh, awesome. I knew that was a good idea." She relaxed a bit, stroking Vulpix. "I bet Coulson's gong to take a little while to figure it out."

"I managed to bluff my way past him earlier," Maeve said, grinning. "I'll probably never be able to do that ever again, but it was fantastic while it happened."

Julie snickered. "It helps that you weren't face to face," she pointed out. "But it's still awesome. Congrats."

Maeve snorted.

"I never would have been able to slip past his radar face-to-face," she said. "Never in a million years."

"Nope." Julie grinned. "But, hey, you managed it over the phone. How long do you think I've got before Coulson comes after me?"

"I'll take the blame for it," Maeve said. She grinned. "He already blames Tony, I may as well tell him that I told you to post the videos for me."
