"Yeah, but I still posted them," Julie pointed out. "We're both guilty." She grinned briefly. "He'll probably blame Tony for being a bad influence anyway."

"Probably," Maeve said. "We should have known better, but we just couldn't help it."

"It was just too tempting," Julie agreed mildly. Vulpix yawned and fluffed her tails out before letting Julie smooth them down again. "Plus he bribed me with this little one."

Maeve grinned and nodded.

"Yeah," she said. "That was probably the best bribe ever."

"Definitely." Julie grinned. She was quiet for a few moments.

"You know, with what we're getting paid now, I bet we could save up and get you an Eevee of your own pretty soon."

"I'd love an Eevee," Maeve said, sighing a bit. "I'd love an Espeon even more, but another psychic-pure in my group? I think that would make me a bit too specialized, don't you think?" She still looked a bit wistful, though. She really would love an Espeon. Female Eevee were ridiculously rare, though.

"Not really. Plenty of people are worse. Just look at Thor." Julie grinned. "He's surrounded by anything electric."

"Thor is a god," Maeve pointed out. "I'd be surprised if anything else happened around him. But as far as I'm aware, I'm just a normal person, and normal people usually try to have balanced groups." She sighed a bit. "But I would love an Espeon so much."

"I've got two fire-types on my team," Julie pointed out. "Granted, one isn't a full fire-type, but still." She shrugged. "I can think of a few people that have multiples of one type on a team."

"Half-types are fine," Maeve said. "You know I took that type-matching class in college. But Gardevoir is a psychic-pure, and an Espeon would be, as well." She didn't mention Chandelure. It was ghost-fire, so didn't count. She shook her head. "But I wouldn't refuse an Espeon if I had an Eevee that wanted to evolve that way."

Tony cracked an eye open and grinned at that, catching Julie's attention briefly and winking at her.

"I know you wouldn't. We'll figure something out for you." Julie grinned.

"Really, I'm fine for now," Maeve said, sitting back. "I need to put some money away for it, anyways. Female Eevee are much more expensive than males."

"True." Julie shrugged, petting Altaria some. "We'll see what happens. And we should probably get inside before we burn."

"I'm good with that," Maeve said, rubbing her shoulders. "I'm about to burn if I'm out here much longer, I'm far too white to be out in the sun for long." She grinned as she stood up and brushed the sand off of herself.

"Yeah, I'm still white and I grew up here," Julie said, shaking her head and carrying Vulpix as she got to her feet.

"Alright, lazybones," she said, looking at Electrike. "We're heading back inside, and you've bothered Arcanine long enough."

Maeve went inside, rubbing her arms and shoulders a bit once she was out of the sun.

"That'll probably still turn into a burn later," she commented.

Julie sighed and nodded. "Probably," she agreed, setting Vulpix down to let the pokemon run around. "Tony, you mind if I take over your kitchen?"

"Sure, go ahead. Be my guest. Which you are, actually. But I don't ever use it." Tony shrugged and went to go turn on the TV and sprawl on the couch.

Heading upstairs, Maeve changed back into normal clothes, settling in comfortably again and heading back downstairs.

Tony had sprawled on the couch, leaving Steve to settle wherever he wanted, only half-watching the TV. He was keeping part of his attention on Julie in the kitchen.

Maeve headed straight into the kitchen to see what Julie was doing. She would admit that Julie was the better cook, no problem. Julie was amazing in the kitchen.

Julie had found enough ingredients for a few batches of pokemon treats, some of which were already baking, and a batch of cookies.

Maeve sat down and watched. She always liked watching Julie cook.

"What kind of treats are those?" she asked.

"I've got one batch that just about all of 'em like, one batch for the more carnivorous ones, and one for the others like Gardevoir." Julie shot her a quick smile. "And a batch of cookies for us."

"Great, treats all around," Maeve said, grinning. "We should give some to Coulson for Gallade and Growlithe, he might appreciate it."

"Yup. Give him some treats and he might be a little more lenient with us." Julie grinned. "I figured they've all been well enough behaved to deserve some treats."
