"Alright, go get some sleep." Tony smirked faintly. "We'll be leaving in the morning, probably."

"I could tell you the same thing," Maeve pointed out, grinning a bit. "About getting sleep. It's a wonderful thing, you know."

"Only every third day or so." Tony grinned at her briefly. "But I'm probably going to be bullied into sleep anyway."

"Probably," Maeve agreed. "So you may as well make it easier for all involved and just try to get some sleep."

Tony snickered and got to his feet, shaking his head a little.

"I can tell you're not going to leave me alone until I go upstairs again at least inside, so I'll walk you up."

Maeve beamed at him. She knew she wouldn't be able to stop him if he decided to come back outside, but at least she had this small victory.

Tony escorted her back up to the mansion before heading back to his room.

"Get some rest, Maeve."

"You too," Maeve said. "Thanks for bringing us here."

"My pleasure," Tony said with a grin. It had been a while since he'd had people at the Malibu mansion, especially people that he liked and trusted. He found he rather liked it.

Maeve grinned at him one more time and disappeared into her room. Sleep sounded like a good idea.

Tony went and settled into his room for the night.

He wasn't the first one up, though. Julie got up at her normal obnoxiously early hour to go for a run, like she did every morning.

Steve had also gotten up early to run, and was surprised to find Julie up as well.

"Good morning," he greeted, letting Arcanine out. The pokemon always went on runs with him.

"Morning." Julie smiled at him, stretching her arms up over her head. To adjust to the weather, she was wearing a sports bra under a thin tank top and running capris. "Early riser?"

"Yeah," Steve replied, flushing a little. "I try to get in a run in the mornings. You?"

"Same." Julie smiled a bit. "Gives Typhlosion longer to sleep. Once he's a little older, I think I'll take Electrike with me, but he's too small at the moment."

Steve nodded.

"You're welcome to join Arcanine and I," he offered.

"Thanks." Julie smiled a bit and headed for the door, glancing back at him. "Ready to go?"

Steve nodded, grinning.

"Let's go," he said, opening the door for her.

Julie got outside and started down the road, keeping to an easy pace for the moment. She'd let Steve take the lead after a mile or so, though.

Steve let her set the (admittedly easy) pace for a little while. He didn't mind the run starting off slow and easy.

Julie kicked up the pace after she was a little more warmed up, settling into her normal pace.

Steve easily kept pace with her, Arcanine next to him. It felt good to run for a while, it always did.

Julie picked up the pace just a little for the last half of the run, working harder than she normally did.

Steve grinned a bit at the extra challenge and sped up as well. It felt good to really work.

By the time they got back to the mansion, Julie was panting but grinning. That had been a better workout than most mornings, and she was rather pleased with herself.
