Julie snorted but tasted it and nodded. "Tastes right to me. I thought you were more into giving orders recently than following them."

"Recently," Steve agreed. "But there was a time before that, too, you know."

"Oh I know." Julie smiled a bit. "You might as well sit and enjoy dinner too, you did cook it after all."

"I wanted to make sure you got some first," Steve said. He smiled a bit. "Now I'll take some to Tony, and then I'll have some."

"Probably a good idea," Julie agreed. "He does forget to eat. You go check on him, I'll wait up here."

Steve nodded, heading down to the workshop. He knew Tony had gotten back from the Helicarrier already, so he was more than likely tinkering with something.

Tony was indeed tinkering with Rotom's suit again. Because of course somehow he'd managed to knock out some circuitry.

"You are a giant pain," he was telling the pokemon. "How you get into this much trouble I still don't know."

"What is it now?" Steve asked, looking over Tony's shoulder.

"He somehow managed to knock into something hard enough to kill one of the relays," Tony said, pointing with a wrench to the appropriate part. "I don't even know how he did it, that thing's under an inch of wires and armor."

"Maybe something knocked into him instead?" Steve asked. "It's possible."

"Possible," Tony agreed. "But not probable." He shook his head and tweaked the relay into the right place again before replacing all the bits.

"Well, there's dinner," Steve said. "You should come up and eat something."

Tony thought about saying no, looked at Ninetails, and gave in. "Alright, might as well. We're all done here, buddy." He made sure everything was functioning normally before letting Rotom run off again.

Steve waited until Tony put down the tools before following him upstairs.

Tony grumbled up to the kitchen, though he was happy enough to get food.

"Hi gimpy," he greeted Julie brightly.

"Call me that again. I dare you." Julie was grinning though.

Steve just rolled his eyes at them both. The banter was nothing new with them. Instead, he let Tony fill a plate, and then went to get his own meal.

Julie ate quietly with them before she hopped over to do dishes.

"Stop doing that," Tony ordered her. "You look so pathetic I want to feel bad for you."

Julie laughed quietly. "Hey, you should know how hard it is to sit and heal."

Tony had to give her that one, although he did walk his plate over to her.

"I can do the dishes," Steve volunteered, also bringing his plate over. "I don't mind."

"I'm fine, Steve. I can lean against the counter to stay upright. Besides, it'll only take a few minutes." Julie took his plate and started washing it too. She'd let him cook, she was doing the dishes.

"You shouldn't be on your feet yet," Steve pointed out. "I can do the dishes."

Julie huffed. "I'm good here for the moment, Steve. I'll hop back to the couch once I'm done."

Tony looked at them and suddenly grinned. Oh this was priceless. And sickeningly sweetly adorable. Oh Cap was never going to live this flirting and fussing down.

Steve sighed.

"As soon as you're done," he said.

Julie rolled her eyes at him but finished the dishes and went to go sit on the couch again before Steve picked her up and made her.

Steve made sure she was able to get to the couch under her own power before putting the clean dishes away and going back into the main room.

Tony followed them, apparently really amused.

"So, you guys pick a movie yet?"

"Not yet," Julie said, eyeing Tony warily.

"Excellent. Jarvis, put on Princess Bride."

Julie snorted. "I had no idea you'd seen that movie."

"Of course I have, it's almost a classic."
