"China just happened to us," Maeve pointed out. "I don't want Chinese again for a long time." She paused. "But shwarma sounds good. Something I can eat with one hand."

Tony shrugged. He liked his Chinese food too much to give it up, but shwarma was good. "So tell Jarvis what you want and it'll be here in twenty minutes, tops."

Maeve had to think for a moment, trying to remember what she'd gotten last time. Whatever it was, it had been good.

"That thing I got last time we had shwarma," she said. "I don't remember what it was called."

"J, you got that?"

"Yes, sir. Your order has been placed and will be delivered in approximately eighteen minutes."

Tony grinned. "No problem." He head out of the lab and up to the main living floor.

Maeve followed him upstairs, and stopped in her tracks when she saw Steve and Julie on the couch cuddling. Both seemed to be asleep, napping contently.

Tony stopped too, his eyes wide.

"Jarvis, I want to see how this happened," he ordered quietly, pulling out his phone. Jarvis obediently replayed the surveillance footage, and Tony shared with Maeve.

Maeve watched the footage and had to bite her lip to keep from laughing when she saw that Julie had somehow managed to corner Steve and kiss the hell out of him before they ended up on the couch together.

Tony was grinning like a loon.

"After they wake up might be a good time to shove that paperwork at them," he said, putting his phone away again.

"I'll leave it where they'll find it," Maeve said. She grinned. "With a post-it on it that says 'sign me'."

"As long as it's not "drink me" or "eat me"," Tony quipped. "I don't want to be the one to explain to Coulson why Julie is ten feet tall and Steve is six inches high."

Maeve snickered.

"Lucky for them, I don't have any uplekuchens," she said. "So no worries there." She grinned.

Tony just grinned and shook his head. "So now the question is do we eat in here and wake them up or take food somewhere else?"

"Let them sleep," Maeve said. "We can go somewhere else."

Tony nodded. "Any ideas where? The gym isn't exactly ideal. And real messy food like that is not allowed in my lab."

"How about out on the balcony?" Maeve asked. "It's nice out, still. Wouldn't be bad."

Tony nodded. "Sure. You go sit, there should be a few chairs out there, I'll just grab food when it gets here so Jarvis doesn't have to wake those two up."

Maeve nodded, heading out onto the balcony and sitting down, shooing away some wild Pidgey and Shuppet as she did so. She looked out over the city as she waited, Chandelure floating out behind her to provide some light.

Tony grabbed food as soon as it arrived, paying the delivery guy before he headed out to join Maeve, Ninetails and Rotom following. Rotom, for once, wasn't getting into trouble, just bouncing over to hover off just over the side of the building.

Maeve grinned a bit when he came out.

"Dinner by ghostly candlelight," she said, gesturing to Chandelure. "Most people would think it's creepy."

Tony snorted. "Fortunately we're not most people," he pointed out, handing her food over. "And fortunately this isn't exactly a gourmet meal."

"Doesn't have to be," Maeve replied as she carefully maneuvered the container with one hand. She grinned. "I like a filet mignon as much as the next girl, but there are other things just as tasty at a fraction of the price."

"Or tastier, I've had some pretty bad filet mignon," Tony said before he took a huge bite out of his shwarma.

"The last time I had it, it was good," Maeve said as she took a more human-sized bite of shwarma. "My mom's cousin's daughter's wedding reception." She grinned. "It was the only thing on the menu I recognized all of, given my Food Network education."

Tony snorted. "I'd say we could get your a proper food education, but Julie's told me you don't cook. Speaking of, I was thinking of paying for cooking classes for her birthday, that's coming up in a few months or something, right? Should be a good thing. I think."

"I think she'd like it," Maeve said. She grinned. "And she's completely right, I don't cook. Theoretical knowledge, yeah, but I'm not so good at the practical bits."
