"Alright," Maeve said. "Go relax. Should I send Gardevoir to help you out some?"

"Not today, we're all pretty much settling in to sleep. I'll see how things go tomorrow, though." Julie yawned again.

"Let me know," Maeve said. "I'll tell Steve you're home safe, he's been worrying." She paused and grinned. "And you never signed that form for me. All it needs is your signature now, Steve signed it."

Julie snorted. "Bring it over when whoever comes to drop off Vulpix and Elextrike, I'll sign it then."

"Will do," Maeve said. "Go ahead and get some rest, I'll take care of things here."

"Thanks." Julie hung up, dropped her phone off to the side, and fell asleep in minutes. Fortunately, all the others were asleep too.

But that was not the case the next day when Julie was expecting her other two to be dropped off.

Steve could hear the ruckus inside even from the hallway. He had Vulpix and Electrike with him, along with the form he'd been told to get Julie to sign. And, as much as he didn't want to admit it, he was hesitating in knocking. So he mustered his courage and knocked on the door, trying to make it so he was heard without breaking the door.

It took Julie a few moments to open the door, and when she did she looked flustered.

"Steve! Oh, hey, come in, I wasn't expecting you." She moved aside to let him in, deftly catching a Chingling before it could get out the door.

"Is this a bad time?" Steve asked as he cautiously went inside. "I can come back later..."

"I suspect there won't be a better time for a week or two." Julie pushed back her hair with one hand, since it had come out of its ponytail at some point. She did shut the door after him, watching as most of the pokemon bolted.

Steve just blinked at all of the pokemon.

"Where did they all come from?" he asked.

"My mission," Julie said. "We broke up a breeding ring. They were trying for shinies, so normal just got shoved in rooms and left there unsocialized. I'm getting this group used to me and my pokemon before they go back to HQ."

"I see," Steve said. He looked at her. "Do you need any help?"

"If you want to stay, sure. Typhlosion and Altaria are keeping them corralled, I'm just trying to keep everything in one piece." Julie sighed as she dropped down on the couch, Vulpix in her lap.

"If you don't mind, then, I'll stay and see if you end up needing extra hands," Steve said, cautiously stepping further into the apartment.

"Sure. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. You want anything to drink?" Julie looked at him, letting go of Vulpix so the pokemon could go investigate all the newcomers.

"No, thank you," Steve replied. He smiled a bit. "I'll say something later if I want it."

Julie nodded. "Well, go ahead and get comfy, make yourself at home." Julie smiled at him and watched as the Growlithe came out of her room to take a look around.

Steve nodded, and then raised an eyebrow slightly when he saw the Growlithe.

"Arcanine is good with little ones," he commented to Julie. "Should I let him out?"

"Sure," Julie said. "Most of them are pretty young, still, so maybe he can help keep them entertained." Because she'd woken up to find Dratini in her tub and Munna in her bra drawer.

Steve nodded and released Arcanine. The big pokemon shook himself a bit and sat down, looking around at all of the young pokemon in the room. Once he had figured out which ones were behaving and which weren't, he went to see what he could do.

Julie grinned as she watched Arcanine working. "That should help," she noted quietly. She could already see some of the pokemon calming down and starting to get curious rather than flighty.

Steve nodded.

"He's good with little ones," he said. "It should make things easier."

Julie nodded, settling in with Steve for a bit to keep track of everyone. It was surprisingly relaxing with the back-up, and she couldn't help but grin when she noticed the little Growlithe prowling around after Arcanine.

Steve noticed as well and grinned a bit. After a moment, he paused.

"Before I forget, I have that form that Maeve wanted us to sign." He turned slightly red and went to pull out the paper.
