"That could be because part of a building fell on you," Tony said quietly. "Good news is you've got pain meds. The good stuff."

Clint nodded and headed out again. Julie ended up leaning against Steve, setting her mug down.

Maeve just held out her left hand a bit.

"Gimme," she mumbled. Pain meds sounded like a wonderful idea.

Steve let Julie settle there, gently putting an arm around her waist.

Tony snorted and gave her one to start, along with some water. Which fortunately had a bendy straw in the glass.

"Sorry," Julie muttered. "Didn't mean to be such a problem."

Maeve managed to get the pill into her mouth and sip some water before settling back. Now to wait for the painkiller to kick in.

"You're not a problem," Steve replied softly. "You're never a problem."

Tony settled in to wait for that to take effect. "So, you're going to be out of active duty for a while. You've got a couple broken ribs."

"At least you think so," Julie said with a wry little smile. "Bet I'm going to hear it from Coulson later."

"I can tell," Maeve murmured. "Hurts to breathe. What else?"

"If he's planning on yelling at you, he's going to have to go through me," Steve said quietly.

"Broken leg, lots of bruises, a few minor cuts, things like that." Tony shrugged. "Nothing life threatening. Just annoying and enough to keep you off duty for a while."

"Thanks." Julie smiled a bit and cautiously settled in against his side.

Maeve just groaned a bit at that and laid her head back against the couch. Finally, the pain meds kicked in and she drifted back to sleep.

Steve let Julie get comfortable, one arm loosely around her waist.

"Just relax," he said softly to her.

Tony stayed there he was to keep an eye on her. He'd make her eat when she got up again.

Julie nodded and settled in there, napping on and off.

Maeve ended up sleeping for a few hours, waking when she was too hungry and sore to sleep any more on the couch. She groaned a bit as she woke up.

Steve kept an eye on Julie, covering her with a blanket and making sure she was comfortable.

"Feel any better?" Tony grinned as he looked down at her, though he was still worried.

Julie napped against him for a little while before she started stirring again. She needed to eat, and she needed to make sure all her pokemon were okay.

"If I say yes, do I get to move to a real bed?" Maeve asked, trying not to breathe too deeply.

Steve noticed her stirring and nudged her gently.

"How do you feel?"

"Sure, why not." Tony snorted. "It's gonna hurt to get there, though."

"Sore and tired," Julie muttered. "And still faintly sick. But I need to check on my group."

"Yeah, I know," Maeve replied, grimacing. "But it's better to be on a real bed, rather than the couch."

"They've all been in and out to check on you," Steve offered. "I made sure they're all settled in and taken care of."

"Alright, then." Tony got up. "Well then I guess we can get you to a guest room." He picked her up again, though he tried to be gentle about it.

"Good." Julie settled down a bit. "And they've all had food? It's later than I'd normally feed them."

Maeve whimpered and gasped a bit when she was picked up.

"Okay, maybe not," she breathed. "Not yet."

Steve nodded.

"Most of the team had supper not too long ago," he replied. "So I took care of them then."

Tony gave her a bit to adjust, not moving. "I did tell you," he said, though he was watching her anxiously.

Julie nodded. "Thanks," she said quietly. "I should probably get some food. And get to an actual bed. Or something."

"I know," Maeve replied. "Put me back down now."

"Just stay here," Steve said. "I can get what you need. What do you want to eat?"

"Still want me to take you to a bed?" Tony asked, quirking an eyebrow at her. "You'll feel better if you can settle on a bed."

Julie shrugged. "Something light. Soup or something." Because she wasn't picky and she wasn't really hungry, just knew she had to eat.

Maeve hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"Bed," she said.

Steve nodded and got up, going into the kitchen. He managed to find and heat up a can of soup, and he brought a bowl out to her.

Tony nodded and headed over to the nearest room with a bed, setting her down as gently as he could.

"Thanks," Julie said quietly, taking the bowl of soup and wincing when she moved. Yeah, she was going to be sore for a while.

Maeve gasped and whimpered more when she was put down, and she just lay still for a moment to try to get the pain to dull down again.

"Remind me never to break my chest again," she breathed.

"No problem," Steve replied as he sat down with her again.

"Will do. I should just make you a suit, then this wouldn't be an issue." Tony pulled a chair over and made himself comfortable.

Julie ended up leaning against him again, sipping her soup slowly and trying to relax.

"I don't need a suit," Maeve said. "So don't even think about it."

"You know all the other agents would be jealous and it would be awesome," Tony pointed out, grinning. "You'd get to show off. And no ribs would be broken."
