Jamie took all of this in. So these enforcers that had Jack clinging to his sister were the spirits of Halloween and had some how taken an interest in him. That didn't sound too good. Taking a deep breath he needed to know everything. The twins couldn't be so bad if they worked for Manny. The man in the moon was the head of the Guardians of all of the spirits. He protected children gave light to the darkness. "How bad is it?" Bad. his mind told him. All of the guardians had come rushing in here.
Jack's arms eased up on Sophie giving her the chance to move. Break the hug if she wanted to. Still something wasn't sitting right with him. One look at Bunny and he knew the guardian of hope felt it too. His ears were moving trying to catch a noise and his nose kept twitching. Something was definitely.
In the darkness of the closet to figures, back in their more humanoid forms, merged out of a water mark. They had stood on the front yard across the street in the form of two children and watched as the sleigh crashed onto the roof. So this is where the Jamie was. How sweet of the guardians.

Sophie moved slightly so that an arms was still around Jack, but she stood next to him so she could actually look at the Guardians. Immediately her other hand reached up and grabbed Jack's arm. She looked at her brother, fear gripping her. The Guardians were scared of these spirits.
"The twins went crazy years back, because if the change that Halloween went through."
"They only really care about scaring people now," Tooth added. "They're not in their right minds. They might...hurt you, Jamie."
Pitch crossed the floor to the shadows. He met them and felt their embrace, like an old friend who had been gone for years. The shadows reached for him, filling his wound and willing him whole. Normally immortals healed at least a little faster than mortals. But he had no power any more. No believers.
He shook the thought away as he allowed the shadows to engulf him. He thought if the little boy he had threatened all those years ago, and the shadows did the rest. He was transported through the shadows to a room that he could only assume was the boy's. His shadows never steered him wrong. It was empty, but he had somehow expected that. He wasn't even sure why he was here. The boy was not his responsibility. But here he was.

A pale hand with deep black claw like nails wrapped around the edge of the closet door pushing it open. Though normally the hinges were well oiled and barely made a noise the action this time cause a large squeak. It drew the attention of everyone in the room. Along with the noise the door made a series of giggles crawled out from behind the door. There was a moment where the unnatural chill filled the air again and there was the lingering smell of something too sweet.
Jack tensed long before the Twins emerged. Jamie took a vague notice that the lights had dimmed slightly. So he was going to met the twins now. Fear filled him but an old tactic he had read in a fantasy novel sprang into his mind. If you imagine and prepare for the worst then reality won't surprise you. So he pictured huge monsters that dripped with blood and black puss. He pictured it so hard that he could practically see them.
In the same fashion that they had entered the workshop, playful and jerky, the Twins emerged from the closet. No trace of what had happened at the workshop on their faces. The only sign was the smears of dark red in the corner of Treat's mouth and the dried blood on the hands that had joined when they left the pole.
" Jamie." Matching green eyes locked in on the human man that North had his hand resting on. So the child still believed.
They had barely managed to take a step in his direction before the other guardians caught their attention. More like New Jack. New jack was so different and so alike the Old Jack. Would he share a same of different end.Same end. Spirits all ended the same. Bent on their knees before Manny as Treat brought down the gift given to her by their creator to end that life. Would New Jack be just as broken as Old Jack.
Yes. A blond clung to him. She wasn't a spirit, no no a human. Ah New Jack was Old Jack. A mad giggle tore from Trick's mouth as their direction changed. Three steps and they were close to the winter child and the human girl.
Jack's eyes widen when the twins attention drifted from Jamie to him. This should have been a good thing but the image of what Treat had done to Pitch was still playing in the back of his head. If it wasn't for Sophie's grip on...his...Oh No Sophie was toughing him. They would know. Know that she believed and then they would be just as interested in her as they were her brother. In a quick motion Jack pushed the blond behind him and crouched grabbing his staff off of the floor. Pointing the hooked end at the twins his face set in a determined scowl. They would not take a step closer.
He expected anger, crazed temper tantrum anger from the to unstable spirit. What he got was some mad giggles and a smooth sticky whirly pop resting just in front of his nose. It was close enough that should Treat feel the need to shift it the blade would cut his face in half. "New Jack is just like Old Jack."
The male twin rested his head on top of his sister's messy hair. " She's even blond."

North pushed Jamie behind him. This was not a game that needed to be played. These were human lives that were being put into the balance. Manny would not be pleased.
Sophie was standing behind Jack with a look of terror on her face. These twins were not what she was expecting at all and somehow that made them even more terrifying. And then they were referring to her. It had to be her. She was the only female in the room other than Tooth and Tooth wasn’t blonde. Tooth had feathers for hair. Sophie really wished she had feathers for hair right now too.
“That is not a concern of yours,” North’s voice boomed. He would not allow these children to come to harm. Not Sophie, not Jamie, not Jack. “I will ask nicely. Please step away and leave.”
Tooth aligned herself to the left of Jack, more than ready to attack. Sandy moved over to the right of Jack, tossing a dreamsand ball in his hands, ready to throw it.

Neither looked as if they heard North at all. No they were too busy staring at Jack grinning at him as if they knew something hilarious. And technically they did. why were they here again...Something to do with New jack. Yes.Not even Trick looked towards the large man. Instead he placed his two black tipped claw hands on his sisters thin shoulders. " He doesn't know." a quick flash of green eyes in North direction made it clear that the taunting tone was for the guardians leader.
Moving the lollipop so that it was back in her mouth Treat pushed the staff out of her face. Leaning forward her candy sweet breath hit his face." Want to hear a story?"
Bunny Tensed at their words. As along as they were in this form they were fairly harmless and easily distracted. Hey wouldn't hurt Jack or the kids like this. However you never knew what would end up setting them off. But those words. No they had never told Jack about the first Jack Frost and for a reason.

Tooth tensed up, and Sandy aimed his dreamsand perfectly. North locked eyes with Sandy, and the years of working together paid off in the conversation in their eyes.
“I would not do that if I were you. Stories make children extremely sleepy.” This was not the way that Jack should hear about the old Jack Frost. North wanted to make sure that it wasn’t going to happen.
Sophie was extremely confused, but she knew that whatever those twins wanted to tell, she didn’t want to hear. In fact all that she wanted to do now was hide under her covers. She took two steps backward

Jack blinked but tried to hold his ground. If the twins were interested in him then they weren't paying attention to Sophie and Jamie and he would deal with anything they threw at him. Taking a step forward He made sure that their attention stayed on him." Sure I like stories." He was partly terrified of what was going to come out of their mouths. He didn't risk looking at the others. Trick giggled. " See children like stories."
Bunny glanced at Sandy then to North. Shifting from one foot to the other ready to grab Jack if he had to. Jamie didn't like where this was going. There was something to the look in the twins eyes and something about the way the Guardians were all tense.
Treat pulled the lollipop out of her mouth with a pop Trick kept green eyes on the rest of the guardians. His sister was always better at story telling. " Once upon a time there was a winter spirit that wanted to be more then he was." A twisted smile stayed on her face.

North’s face was murderous. But he couldn’t move. He couldn’t leave Jamie unprotected. Tooth saw the anger in his eyes. He wasn’t thinking clearly anymore.
“How about the story of two children instead? Twins. Their names were Hain and Hallow. Once upon a time they were good and kind.”
Sophie’s eyes flew back and forth between Tooth, the twins, and Jack. Was Tooth telling the twins’ story? She had to have been. She took two more steps backward. This was getting to be too much.

Three sets of eyes moved to Tooth. One blue and filled of shock. This was the story of the twins. He knew that Tooth had said they went crazy but he never gave thought to who they were before. He kind of had a lot on his mind since he met them.
The other two sets of eyes were green. There was the same hint of hurt in them as when Pitch had called them crazy, had brought up how they got this way. Like a deep buried an emotion that they did register.
A hissed whined tore from her throat. Trick tightened his hands. Green eyes bleeding to red. " No I like the one about the winter spirit that had his head chopped off and he got replaced."
Jamie took a half step to the side so he wasn't behind North anymore. he didn't like where any of this was going. Casting a nervous glance towards the door. They needed to get this wrapped up soon. His parents nor Joyce were going to stay down stairs forever.

"The twins were the spirits of Halloween. She was supposed to help spirits. And he was supposed to protect humans." Tooth could have strangled the two with her own two hands, but words were fat more effective against them.
North nodded to Sandy, telling him to throw if the twins kept up with their story.
"I don't like either of these stories," Sophie said, backing into the wall.

Stumbling back jack stared wide eyed at the twins. what..No..What were they saying? Turning his head he tried to catch Tooth's eyes or any of the others. No one looked at him. Bunny was staring at the twins with a look he could only describe as murderous. They knew what story the twins were talking about...They just didn't want him to hear it.
Moving so that he was closer t o the wall and his sister Jamie reached over the bed and grabbed her arm. In case he needed to pull her out of there. and by the looks on the spirits of Halloween's faces he was pretty sure he was going to have to. Why were they here. Other then for him, and they didn't seem to be paying him much attention.
Like most things with the twins their current hold on what little sanity they had snapped. Treat's skin tore and grayed leaving her in her twisted form. With more force then her arm looked like it could manage she swung at Jack. Knocking the surprised winter spirit back before she snarled in Tooth's face. Trick's skin shriveled up into bark and the face his rotten pumpkin head roared as he grabbed one of Tooth's arms.
Boomerangs out Bunny looked to North waiting for the signal. They were too close to Tooth to blindly attack.

"SANDY, NOW," North roared.
Sandy threw three dreamsand balls in quick succession, not pausing to see the outcome.

Jamie had Sophie over the bed had closer to the bedroom door before the first ball of dream sand hit. Jack had moved out of the way when he was the glowing balls of sand.No he had things he needed to ask the guardians. Landing on the bed he watched as the three balls hit their targets.
The first ball hit Treat right in the face. Black eyes wide she fell towards the floor slipping back in to her more human form before her head hit the ground. Trick was next since he had moved to stop his sisters descent. His form shifted as well. Like all things the twins did they appeared to dream together as well. Two sandy forms appeared above the twins heads. The dream people ran around under what looked to be a full moon though a pumpkin patch.
With Trick's movement Bunny's face was in direct line to the last Ball of dream sand. with a twitch of his nose the 6 foot bunny fell to the ground. The dream sand taking the form of him painting eggs.

Sandy moved over to Bunnymund, at first trying to move the Bunny into a standing position, but giving up and sitting on the floor next to him. North heaved a sigh of relief. Sophie latched onto her brother's arm.
"Jamie, Sophie, are you okay?"

Jack stood there on the head of Sophie's bed staring at the two sleeping spirits. They were crazy and terrifying at points but he wished they were still up. He needed to know the rest of that story.
Jamie moved his sister behind him and didn't so much as glare at the guardians but a the situation.Those...things had been in his sister's closet." What the hell just happened." Taking a step forward he made sure to make eye contact with all four of the guardians. Jack looked lost in his own mind at the moment and Jamie couldn't blame him. Those things the twins had said. Shaking his head he figured he would worry about Jack later. The sounds of footsteps on the stairs stopped him from saying anything else. In a harsh whisper he addressed North. " I want an explanation later. Right now get those two out of here." Turning his back on them he nudged Sophie towards her door before calling out to who he assumed would be Joyce. "The windows' broken. It won't shut.Dad will have to come look at it"
After the bedroom door shut behind the two Jack turned to face the other three Guardians." What were they talking about?" Using his staff to indicating the sleeping twins. He hadn't felt like this towards the guardians since they he had pushed open the shack to find that they had kidnapped him. It was the feeling of mistrust.

Sophie looked at Jamie, a distraught look on her face. “Jamie,” she whispered. “Jamie, are you okay? Are the Guardians going to be okay? And Jack?”
North let out a sigh. “We have been keeping things from you, Jack.”
Tooth, still rubbing her arm moved toward Jack. “It wasn’t that we wanted to hide things from you. We just wanted…we were going to tell you everything about the old Jack. We just…we didn’t—”
“We wanted you to have an identity separate from him.”

His sister really was something else. Those monsters had come out of her closet and she was more concerned about her friends. Their friends. May be he had been a little harsh with the Guardians. one look into big green eyes and Jamie felt that tingle of fear for his sister. No he hadn't been too harsh. " They'll be fine."
He moved away as tooth got closer, almost flinched. " Who...Who is 'Old Jack'?" The twins words, well Tricks words, played in his head at that moment.Like a little taunt that echoed over and over again. ' Got his head chopped off and replaced.' " Am I just some replacement?" He felt sick.

Musing his sisters hair Jamie smiled down at her."Yeah kid I'm fine." He was more worried about Jack then himself. Tooth was right the twins were crazy. And they didn't seem to focus on one thing for very long so maybe their interest in him would go vanish. Though he doubted the likely hood of that. "What about you?"
"But I am ,aren't I?!" The winter spirit yelled not caring that his two favorite humans were probably still within hearing distance. They had been lying to him. All this time. After he had taken the oath of the guardians he thought that that was it.No more feeling alone, no more being left out or over looked and they had been lying to him the whole time. Frost began to creep onto the bed freezing the pillows and blankets.

Sophie thought about the twins shifting form in front of her and shuddered. Shaking her head she responded, "I'm fine. I really just--" Jack's shouts cut her off. She looked at Jamie, upset. "I'm worried about Jack."
North's voice was quiet when he responded."You're not. You and the last Jack are completely different."
Pitch heard the Frost-boy shouting. He was sounding particularly teenage and angst-filled. He must have been told about the last Jack. This would have amused him, had he still been crazy. It still amused him a little, actually. But now he just thought of his own daughter. Her teenage years. He had missed them all. He attempted to shake the thought. Why was he still in the shadows in the boy's room? The Guardians were here. He should escape. But to where? It's not like they wouldn't find him eventually, before he could restore himself to power. And who knew what tyre twins would do to hook before killing him. His hand went to his shoulder. No, staying here wouldn't hurt him.

((I'm on my Phone so it'll be short. ))
Leaning back against the wall Jamie cast a nervouse look towards her door. He knew that sandy's dream sand would keep those two out for a while.so what ever Jack was yelling about had to be something to do with the guardians. Still he wanted the twins out of the house. One look at the look on Sophie's face told him that his little sister was more concerned with the winter spirit then what had just happened in her room. Really he hated how big her heart was sometime " I'm going to make sure Joyce and our parents stay downstairs." chewing on his bottom lip the birthday boy debated his next sentence. " why don't you go hurry them up." no matter what he knew that jack wouldn't let anything happen to her.

Sophie smiled, kissed her brother on the cheek and turned and entered her room again, closing the door behind her. The twins were still on the floor, as was Bunny with Sandy directly next to him. Tooth had a hurt look on her face and North was staring down at the floor. And then there was Jack. Not sure where to look, Sophie glanced at her closet. She prayed that they weren’t going to try and send the twins back through it.
“Is everything okay in here?”

Jack took a deep breath at the sound of her voice. He was sure Sophie had been scared enough with out seeing him yell at the guardians.Besides he didn't want her to know he was some kind of replacement. Despite what North said Jack had a feeling that that's what he was, not the first. Jack Frost wasn't really his name. It had belonged to someone else before him. " Yeah everything's fine Soph. Just trying to figure out what to do with these two wak-a-doodles and the Easter Kangaroo." The frost receded from the bed spread but Jack his look cold towards the three guardians. If Bunny was awake he'd glare at him too.

Sophie wasn’t buying it, but she didn’t think it right to call him out on it. She stared a t the twins. They look almost…peaceful. Then she looked at Tooth, who was still rubbing her arm. “We’re not putting them back in my closet, are we?”
North guffawed. “No, no, little Sophie. Your closet would not make a good place for these two.” He smiled at the girl. Sophie moved to North and hugged him, her arms not even being able to wrap around him. North patted her on the head.
“Thank you for protecting Jamie,” she said, before releasing and turning to the rest of the Guardians. “Thank all of you, really.” She looked at Jack, not sure if she should approach him or not, but decided better of it and stepped around the twins to get to Bunny and Sandy. She patted Bunny on the head with a smile.

Hovering off the bed Jack lowered himself down onto the other side of the bed closer to the guardians but also close to the window. The feelings from before were still there but dealing with the twins had to come first. Casting a look out of the window Jack wanted to be at his lake. Blue eyes widened what if it wasn't really his lake, just another thing passed over from the old Jack. No it would always be his lake. He had taught Emma to swim in it's waters and he had died saving her there. No matter what connection it had to the other Jack Frost it would always be HIS Lake.
" So where are we putting them. I don't think Bunny would want us dropping all three of them off at the Warren."
Even in his unconscious state Bunny's foot twitch at the feel of Sophie's hand. The golden scene above his head shifted to included the little blond painting eggs with him.
