I have not paired my oc's up in my fanfic.
Only one pair i really have. Okay maybe two.
But that's all.

I am trying to stay on course and not stray from the plot.
I tend to do that with romance.

I prefer to write romance. That's the whole plot with my nano story. The other is sci-fi and it's still mostly about the action plot.

I love to write romance.
But I tend to get ahead of myself.

I use to write adult novels.
So that is part of it.
As well as losing sight of the plot line and what my plans were/are

I write adult stuff!! Took me a while to get the knack of it though.
...adult novels have plot lines...? *bricked* Ah no...but sometimes it seems like that. XD

@Kat
It took me a while too. I have a bunch of short story adult novels.
Though no one will ever read them

I don't like my novels to be all about sex and all that adult-y stuff.
I like to have a plot line. I seem to easily lose myself if I don't.

No one will read my old ones, but my fanfic writing at least is out there. It's mostly all M rated.

I won't write a story that's all inappropriate. I like romantic plot outside of it and other relationships. Friends and family and such. Sometimes those relationships are part of the romantic plot.

I only have my fanfic up.
I should re-write another story of mine but eh. So much work.

Yeah, same here. Well for the not writing an all inappropriate story. I like developing a plot line.
And characters of course.

I write like a little speed ninja because I have too many ideas. >.> Most of what I've posted is oneshots though.

I don't even write that much smut in my stories! Except that last novel for nano

I only get that way if I keep coming up with ideas.
Which is happening more frequently since writing this fanfic of mine.

Lol. I hardly write it out. I can never like the story enough to get past chapter 1.

I have a constant stream of ideas. I've finished writing I think 9 oneshots since June plus started a few more and three novel length fics. I have a list of a whole lot more I want to write. It's a little maddening. I can't write fast enough.

Sometimes I write it out more explicitly than others. I've done short little paragraph scenes or pages long ones.
You should push yourself past that first chapter!

I am like that too, just not with writing unless I have a dream of a story idea.
I am more like that when it comes to art.
Like I will jut be browsing menewsha, and if I see someone's avatar I like, I will suddenly get a pose
in my head and I have to draw it.

I should. But since my writing has improved I have to re-write one of my stories and I have to figure out another one's plot
and get chapter 2 of my fanfic done.
So I got like 3 projects to do.

I have a giant to do list for art, but I don't actually try to do anything off of it. Writing is my real passion in the end. The art muses I have, I just ignore.

If you practice writing a lot at once, it gets a lot easier.

I am not sure which I am better at.
I like to do both. I am still practicing on both.

Yeah, true. It is just hard for me to like any of my plot stories.

Practice is the best thing you can do.

How can you know if they're any good if you don't even give them a chance?

Yes, very true.

They always sound...stupid .___.
And they are never fully developed.
And when I do figure it out, it's just not as good as I had hoped it would be. .~.

the first draft is never so good as you thought. That's why you edit. And what did I say about practice? It goes for the plot too. If you never have practice following a plot through, they won't get more developed and better.

Yeah Yeah I know. XD
Though for some reason I never just write a rough draft I just write and be done with it.
And if I come up with a better idea for that chapter, then I edit it.

So usually I am just winging it.

That's good at least, but editing is a really important part of writing. I don't get how some people can skip over it. The rough draft is always a rough diamond. Polishing never hurts it. And sometimes you write a hunk of rock and still need to beat it with a chisel to pull the right story out of it.

I just don't really normally need it.
At least not until I come up with better ideas which always come to me after I upload it.
