Hopefully you hear from them soon!
Have you tried contacting them just to check in and let them know you are serious about wanting the job?

Aww, darn! Could you just go to the place that you went for the interview?
Either way, I do hope that you get the job and hear back from them soon! :)

That's tricky, Lavi. I don't have a lot of experience with jobs. Never had one and I've only been to one interview.

it was done by a 3rd party, the careers office sent me to the local college to fill in stuffs, then they send it on to management if you're considered a good candidate, which i was, now i just have to wait, so i really don't know who i can contact cause the careers office said they didnt have any control once it went to management.
---------- Post added 12-01-2014 at 09:22 PM ----------
aw well good luck kat, it can be hard when its your first cause they always want somebody with experience.
I don't have any experience in retail just call centres and restaurants, but i almost got to management in the last restaurant so i'm sticking to that so i can keep climbing the ladder :)

Ah, I can see how that'd be hard to figure out. :( I do hope that everything does work out for you.
I've had three jobs, and never interviewed once - I come from a small town where everyone knows each other. xD

I think that would be nice. I don't have an connections to get jobs off of others. My little brother does that with my dad though.
It really is a vicious loop. You need a experience to get a job and you need a job to get experience. I really don't want to flip burgers. I have a degree! I should be able to do more!

I worked retail in a rafting store that's near home starting my senior year and ending that summer before my first semester of college (there was an "interview" but I was pretty much guaranteed the job without one. Then I worked in a restaurant that is a bit closer than the store I worked at, and my mom was the one who filled out the application and turned it in and I pretty much got the job no questions asked as they all know me as well because my parents are huge in the community. And then I worked for three summers as a nanny for a family friend's two sons.

Those two are now in high school - in 9th and 10th grade! O.o Where has the time gone?! I loved the time that I got to spend with those two. ^_^
I was sad that it didn't last any longer than those three years, but it was a fun three years. ^_^ It was the money from watching them that gave me the majority of what I needed to pay for my plane ticket to Australia. :]

actually, he didnt drop out, he didnt start lol. He left school with rubbish grades and decided to party for 2 years and now he's 19 with no experience and jobs just look at him and question the gap in employment and why he didnt further his education.
But eh, thats his fault. he'll probably find a warehouse job somewhere eventually they usually dont look at grades.
im sure there will be a shop for you somewhere kat, you'd think there would be a lot right now with it being christmas coming up, they usually want alot of temporary staff

I barely let myself spend any that summer - all that I earned went into a jar that I was using to save up - I had over 800$ at one point in that jar.

Yeah, I need to get off my duff and reapply to some places for seasonal job.
My cousin has been off and on colleging for years and hasn't come close to a degree yet. But he just got a job doing electrical drafting from some friends. So yeah, sometimes you can get a real job without a degree.

That's cool. I wouldn't want to go into management myself. I really do want to work a standard retail sort of job forever. It's not my career. My writing is that so I don't want to put too much effort into something else.
Why don't you have paint tool sai, fuu?
