Went to a near by thrift store close to my house. then to bank, plus to other stores so far today. I plan go church tonight with my mom. its something I have not done for a few months now. so I'll be back around sometime around 7 pm I guess.

That's not too uncommon, depending on your denomination. I had a friend when I was young whose family went on Wednesdays and Sundays. I don't know which they were, just that they were in deep.

I mean, I know it's always possible to go to churches any day of the week, but I'm only familiar with going on saturday or sunday, I guess.

The church my mom go's to. has church on both Sunday and Wednesday each week. but I'm not use to hearing going. to church on Saturday's so much any more. some church's do that and some don't. yet I had a nice time tonight

I was only confused a few times. Once because of a reference to a old comedy actor. who had a TV show back in the 70s. The other thing was some bible versus and words,that I did not understand.

Hm, i always miss old references like that, but then, I also miss current references too. There was only a small portion of my life where I was 'with It' in terms of pop culture.

We are in the same boat then Kat-chan I hardly watch. tv any more only rarely I watch mostly youtube now.

YouTube is just so much easier to keep track of.

I agree with you on that and I sometimes watch stuff on Crunchyroll. but the ad's can be annoying at times. if I recall right they played four are five ad's in a row for me. I can understand they need make there money with ad's. if people don't chose pay be premium members.

That's always annoying. I try to find places to watch where there are not so many ads because I don't have patience for that. That's why just reading the manga rather than watching anime can be easier. I usually prefer to do that.

Right now it's only about 75...but it's supposed to heat up doing the week, bleh.

Yeah my state sucks with heat in summer time. it may rain this week if so then I'll be happy don't want any drought's.

Illinois isn't much better...I can't tell you the number of people who I've run into (both IRL and online) thinking that summers in Illinois aren't that bad because we're not a "southern state". They are...oh gods they are. 90-100 degree heat isn't only not unheard of in the summer, it's a regularity.

So far it's been rather cool though, for the time being...but it's also only June. Summer's only starting, eww.....

I've been told by a friend that I must go through Camp Nano with them next month. Is anyone else thinking of doing it?

Back in April I made a cabin for Menewshans and Rolians, since both sites have several writer hangouts like this one ^^. Been toying with the idea of making the cabin again, and inviting people to it ^^.

I had no idea Illinois got like that in summer. this is a shocker to me since I don't travel to other states. if I did I would know thing better about each state.

Ohhh it gets icky in the summer here--and we're a large enough state that it's not even the same sort of hot ick for the entire state X'P. Down south you'll get a more humid heat, same with in Chicago and along the Mississippi. Everywhere else it's a toss-up as to whether it's going to be humid or dry, but it's a guarantee it'll be hot and you'll hate it and wish for air conditioning if you don't have it. It's one of those reasons why I get just a little bit salty whenever someone comes up and says "oh it doesn't get that hot up in Illinois, it's not hot enough for central air to be a utility."
YES. YES IT DOES. IT'S MISERABLE AND HOT AND YOU CAN LITERALLY COOK EGGS ON SIDEWALKS. AC IS REQUIRED UP HERE.

And as miserably hot as it gets in the summer, it gets just as cold and nasty in the winter. You don't really win; in the summer it feels like the tropics (there have literally been times when Florida is cooler than northern Illinois, I am not kidding), and in the winter you may as well be in the arctic (ALASKA IS WARMER THAN WHERE I LIVE IN THE WINTER WHY ANCESTORS WHY DID YOU SETTLE HERE WHY COULDN'T YOU DECIDE TO SET UP IN ALASKA WHY).

It's why I say the only good seasons are either spring (until it gets miserably hot), and fall (until it gets balls-freezing cold). Summer and winter can both go eat ass.

Denver has had ten 90°F degree or warmer days in a row already and Summer still isn't here yet!

Ew, yeah, I've been hearing about that on the news XP. Does not sound very pleasant at all for you guys.

Heck I use to recall the hot days of being in my rotc uniform. thinking to myself my feet feel like they,are getting cook. in these dang blasted pure black shoes that that gave us to use. standing on hot concrete as the inspected us one at a time. more then once I would wonder. why don't all girls get to wear the skirts? those royal navy blue pants. made you sweat like a pig between spring and summer. lols

Summer has already been well under way here. Every day I feel like I will melt just driving to work in the afternoon. The AC can't kick on early enough! It's been fairly wet though so we're not getting much in terms of drought.

I plan to just write randomly for camp nano rather than having a project. I want to devote myself to all my normal writings a little more, rather. I'm pretty excited thinking about it though.
