Bit odd being there without having to write papers, tress, out etc. Was nice to see everyone again before they scatter though, and it got me thinking about what I want to do with my life and what's worth fighting for (in a manner of speaking). I've started to wonder if I'v ever actually tried for anything, taken a real risk. I'm not sure that I have, but I know that I need to put myself out there and risk utter failure if I'm going to get where I want to go...and I think I might be okay with that now.

No. Seri has been having trouble finding work and is now looking to get into grad school with an assistantship/fellowship somewhere.

@xuv - Grad school = where you go for post-undergraduate work, to get a Masters or a PHD. An assitantship basically waives your tuition while granting you a stipend to live off of provided you teach x number of classes (usually 2 or 3).

Seriri, about those kind of programme, would you be able to earn a living at all?

They pay you a living stipend. Basically enough to pay for food and an apartment if you're lucky. How much you get depends on the school/program in question and the cost of living in that state/area, and you're able to go and get another / part-time job for additional income if you need it.

... you are allow to get a part time job, but... would you have time...?
As the Assistanship seems to take full time, no?
