I swear the high school i went to has just ruined me mentally, but i'm slowly coming to terms with everything.

if I can get some friends to agree to it, I'd love to take a road trip through the states or something like that. And a cherry blossom festival sounds awesome :D

haha, yea, it does feel like hell sometimes, I can agree with that. It's a really stressful lifestyle, especially for people not exactly used to it I guess? sometimes i'd love to just find a nice quiet place to lie down in the grass or something and just stare at the sky...never have time though :sigh:

i'll look into volunteer programs and stuff for the summer and see if there's anything i can do that'll take me at least out of state, i think it's high time i show my parents i can take care of myself ^^

and haha yea, i'm not surprised that a lot of new yorkers mention it, it seems to be something we're well known for xD

Part of me REALLY wants to, but then I've already dedicated myself to a number of other things. So I guess it's just priorities, in the end.

I think you'll find the best luck with service projects. Though there's also a possibility of finding an archaeological dig or something you can volunteer for. I don't know all the details on that or where to look, but I know there are projects up the East Coast because a few of my Anthropology classmates have been to some.

I live just a short distance outside of Washington, DC on the Virginia side. ;D Yeah, it would have some danger to it. But I'm just dyin' for an adventure. I think in some ways I still believe people are generally good. But I know there are people who go way against that. I do know how to take care of myself in the standard sense. So I dunno. I'm sure it's part of the reason I haven't just gone off yet. Bah. My mind is so confuddled.

And I think the people outside are wrestling in the hall so it's not helping.

Awww! Thank you! I don't have a lot of event stuff, but the cocoa EI was a must-have after talking about how to make cocoa from cacao beans by hand at the beginning of the event. hehehe

@Starr: haha yea, generally...if i pull all nighters, since i was one of the lucky few from my high school who never did, i've only had two i think, but when i do...i end up sleeping like 15 hours. its really disconcerting waking up and realizing i slept through lunch, dinner, breakfast, and lunch again. >.<

Same here. I definitely need to go at least get ready for bed. I don't want to accidentally fall asleep with my contacts in (again). Used to happen way more often for after-school naps in high school. I actually have always pulled all nighters. There just isn't enough hours in the day for me to do everything I want to do.
