I read Homestuck but I'm not everybody so...

Should judge the person by their actions, not their fandom.

I think every fandom gets judged by their worst members and sadly there are some real rotten apple 'Homestucks'.

I was walking behind a guy who had a Derpy Hooves messenger bag on my way to uni once.

I learned the reason that we use the phrase "bad apple spoils the bunch" is because the rotting apples in a barrel would emit stuff that would speed the progression of spoiling for all the ripe apples in the barrel.

oh, I don't mind people who are into whatever they're into. Just wondering because it seems a lot of people I know are into homestuck and...I couldn't even get through the first chapter or whatever it was.

It just seems backwards to me because she's even got her wall-eyes on the toy

You'd think if they didn't want to be associated with her, they wouldn't publicise her like that...
or atleast endorse it...

Hasbro had to endorse her because their was such a large demand from her. But then back tracked on showing her at times, and her original voice.

It wasn't Hasbro that put her in the show, it was the animators, as a shout out to the bronies

Hasbro have now decided to take a bigger role in the writing of the show, probably in order to avoid a reoccourance of derpy
And making the animators do things they don't really want to in terms of the show

The first ever time I tried to read Homestuck the first acts felt like a bit of a chore but rereading I can appreciate the world and character building.

And I thought I'd pressed submit on this already I need to stop doing that. >.<
