Mel shifted a bit. "Ah sorry...I guess I just figured we were going to get in trouble...we usually do." She frowned. "Sorry Harry." When Dumbledore asked how they did it she grinned a bit and listened to D explain filling in on anything that was confusing.

"Pretty awesome powers if you ask me."

"Very interesting..."

"How do you feel about pranks?"

"No!" Mel huffed. "I could end up killing someone." She crossed her arms.

"You'll have to excuse them...pranks are always number one on their minds."

"Not true! We have a girlfriend now~"

"Exactly! Girlfriend first then pranks."

"This is going to be one interesting year..." Mel smirked crossing her arms. "I guess the private lesson's will be when everyone is doing a magic class or after school?"

She laughed softly and rolled her eyes. "Really guys...? Really...?"

He chuckled softly. "You can start them after winter break, night classes would probably be best."

"Yes really."

"Silly American."

"Yeah. It's easier to hide from the students..and we have an actual excuse to be in the halls at night with out getting in trouble.." Mel grinned. "Not that anyone could catch me..." She placed her hand behind her back and chuckled. Once they finished in Dumbledore's office they were free to go back to class not that anyone besides Hermione actually wanted too.

The days progressively got colder as time passed getting closer to Christmas. The first day of their winter break had arrived. Mel reluctantly gotten out of bed since she was told she couldn't sleep the entire vacation. She was down on one of the common room couches yawning. She also wondered if they were still invited to the Weasleys' for Christmas.

She rolled her eyes watching Mel grumble as she pet Fleek on the balcony, frowning at him. "Now remember.. we're only going to be gone for a bit... I want you to stay here and keep Hagrid company..."

He snorted.

"I mean it Fleek.. We can't bring you with us, there's too much going on, I can't keep an eye on you as well. So you need to stay here and make sure the castle doesn't get burned down.. or something like that..."

He snorted again watching her quietly then rolled his eyes, clicking his tongue and nuzzling her, tugging at her scarf with his beak.

She laughed softly and nudged him away. "Fine.. I'll see what I can do about getting you to come by for a visit, but only because you're spoiled...." She pay his side and made her way out of the room raising an eye at Mel. "You need to get dressed...." She scowled softly and stuck out her tongue. "Good think I packed your things or we'd miss the train out. The train leaves in two hours, so you have enough time to get ready and get something to eat. Oh, hello Harry."

He waved tilting his head as he looked at them. "You're not dressed yet?"

She smirked. "I was telling her to get changed, though if she wants to stay here at the castle...." She raised an eyebrow and poked her friend gently. "Come on lazy bones, the faster you get dressed the quicker we can get some cocoa."

"I'll get dressed..." She groaned a bit through a stretch. "You know how slow I am in the morning." She chuckled a bit and moved back up to the room to get dressed. She bundled up leaving her gloves off until they were going to be outside. She adjusted her scarf and then walked out of the room and back into the common room. "Alright. All set." She looked back to the room. "Is Fleek going to follow the train? It would be really hard to explain that one..." Her nose twitched.

"Every body's finally all dressed are we?" He raised his eyebrow. "Damn we missed it then." He laughed a bit. "They'll be staying at our house so we won't miss the next chance."

"Exactly. We know all sorts of peep holes in our house."

"Way to date perverts D..." She smirked raising her eyebrow.

"I don't know where they get it from." He sighed and shook his head. "We might as well grab breakfast before we get on the train unless you just want the snacks on board."

"I think it's too early for sugar...even for me." She stretched a bit. She placed her hands in her pockets before she headed over to the portrait pausing for a second to let Lilly jump on her shoulders.

She reached over feeling Mel's forehead. "Are you sure you're okay...?" She pokes at her side gently. "Or maybe you aren't Mel... maybe someone has Mel tied up in a closet and took some polyjuice potion." She smirked. "Maybe I need to get you naked, just in case.. we've still got an hour and a half....' She tossed her arm over Mel's shoulder looking back at the boys. "You don't mind right...?"

"W-wait what?" He frowned watching the two of them.

She pouted softly. "Hey, I was kidding... mostly.." She leaned over and whispered to Mel, loud enough to be over heard. "tonight, we'll have a pillow fight in our underwear and giggle like idiots.. sound good?"

She made her way down raising an eyebrow, clearing her throat.

"Oh, and of course Hermione will join us... Ginny too..." She smirked softly wagging her fingers. "So I guess no one will be watching since there's a sibling involved.. well I guess harry could watch without feeling creeped out..."

He blushed and coughed slightly clearing his throat.

"Oh, I guess not then..."

"We'd mind less if you less us watch. It would be much more interesting."

"Sounds more fun then pranking too.."

"I'm Mel~" She giggled. "Just ask all the girls in my head." She nodded a bit walking with the group out of the common room. She chuckled a bit. "You're just looking for an excuse to get me naked~" She grinned. "Every night isn't enough for you? Greedy~" She wagged her finger.

"You can't invite our sister! That isn't fair." He crossed his arms and frowned. "She can't be with you all the time."

"We'll get you then." He grinned.

"Stop teasing.." Mel chuckled. "Harry's too much of a gentleman to be thinking like that." She looked back at him. "It's something to to get used too..." She shook her head before she felt D abruptly taken from her. She blinked.

"Mistletoe in the doorway...~ We're just borrowing our girlfriend!"

".....is there another way into the great hall then...?" She grumbled staring up at the poisonous plant. "Why is that a tradition...it'll kill you if you eat it..."

She blinked looking back at Mel before tilting her head at the twins. "Huh? H-hey." She scowled softly and tried to wiggle out of their grasps so she wouldn't be trapped under the doorway with them. Unable to escape she gave a defeated sigh and rolled her eyes.

She blinked at Mel. "You only have to kiss someone if you're caught under it with someone, or you could just ignore it." She tilted her head. "And that would be why it's not at face level. it's over head so no one will ingest it.

She looked over her shoulder and pouted. "Aw, you don't want to kiss me Mel?"

He cleared his throat, coughing again and, walking a bit behind Mel. "It's alright, you can just ignore it if you want..."

She looked back to the twins, watching them quietly, wondering exactly how they were going to do this and if she could duck in time. She smirked slightly at the thought and looked to Mel raising an eyebrow.

"You agreed to date us." Fred raised his eyebrow. "It's only fair to kiss you under the mistletoe."

"Just this once?" They looked at each other and grinned.

Mel looked back at Harry and smiled wrapping her arms around his and stopped under it and turned back to Hermione. "That's what I usually do back home...The only one who wants to kiss me is D.." She chuckled stroking Lilly's chin who nuzzled her a bit. She raised her eyebrow wondering if she could duck fast enough for the twins to get each other.

"Who would you like to kiss first?" They weren't that stupid. They certainly didn't want to kiss each other.

"Darn..." She snapped her fingers.

He blinked looking down at his arm and chuckled softly glancing at her quietly and smiled sheepishly, kissing her cheek before looking away and clearing his throat.

"Ah, so just once, and you want to waste it in the hallway of the school.. I see...." She smirked looking back and forth to the two of them tilting her head. "Is that what you want? Just a single kiss, not a full blown make out session under a toxic plant...?" She mused backing up slightly as they thought about it. "Oh, look at that, looks like you have to kiss.. or at least have a 'bro hug'...."

Mel blushed slightly looking up at him and smiled. She shifted a bit tilting her head down mumbling quietly to herself tugging him into the great hall to the table.

"That wasn't very nice~"

"Cheating us like that..."

"We'll get you yet!" He shook his hand a bit. "You wait and see."

"And the make out session can be done at home in private."

"That was only a little bit strange..." He raised his eyebrow. "Harry seems to be having better luck guys.." Ron chuckled walking past his brothers and to the table. "As much as I'll miss this food I'm looking forward to a big dinner."

She waved a hand over her shoulder and joined Mel at the table, nibbling on some toast, humming happily.

He laughed softly looking to D then to the twins. "You may need a body guard...."

"I'll manage..." She smiled blinking up at the twins. "I'm safe aren't I?"

He laughed softly and shook his head. "I don't think safe is the right word..."

"Well they aren't going to kill me.. otherwise they can't make out with me... Well they could, but that's a bit... " She shuddered and waved her hand. "Anyway, I can make it up to them later. And I'm sure they'll let me breath eventually.. they have to eat at some point.. though I am a bit screwed if they take turns.. I'll never get to eat or breathe...."

"I'll be a good body guard~" She grinned and tilted her head. "Don't worry. I'll give you time to eat and breathe." She turned back to her plate and started eating so hopefully she wouldn't whine on the train ride to much.

"We promise to let you breathe and eat. An unhappy girlfriend makes for unhappy boyfriends...We've learned that."

"It's good to know you've learned something..." He sighed and shook his head.

They twins nodded as they ate. The sooner everyone finished the sooner everyone could head to the train.

Mel glanced over at the clock and stretched. "It'll be weird not having Christmas at home..I'm not concerned about the whole present thing...I guess I miss my family a little..." The family's had to be used to the girls randomly traveling by now anyway.

She smiled and nudged her gently. "We'll give them a call when we're settled, okay?" She tilted her head and grinned, grabbing some muffins for the train, just in case before nibbling on some more toast.

Once they were done, they filed to the carriages and got to the train. she flopped onto the seat and stretched out sticking her tongue out at the twins. "Sorry, all full, no room for you boys."

He laughed softly and sat down on the opposite bench, gently tugging mel down next to him before looking out the window, suddenly interested on something. he blinked and cleared his throat. "Uh, hey... where's Fleek suppose to be...?"

"Hagrids.... why...?" She sat up looking out the window.

He squawked, his upper body lifted, front claws on the window, lion tail swaying.

She smacked her forehead. "Fleeeeeeek...."

Fred raised his eyebrow looking over at his twin before they smirked and tugged her arms up and sat on either side of her. "It doesn't work too well with people who can just pick you up and move you."

"You didn't kiss us...the least you can do is let us ride next to you.."

She sat down next to Harry and raised her eyebrow looking over at the window. "Oh dear..." She sighed. "He's going to get us in trouble..." Mel frowned glancing over at D. "Can't you tell him to leave us alone? He'd have to listen...right?" She then blinked. "Well...he'd probably just be lonely..." She looked down at Lilly.

Lilly's eye twitched a little. She didn't want to baby sit the bird. Her tail swayed a little before she jumped up onto the window before jumping onto his head. "You can play with me feathers.." Her nose twitched.

"Lilly, you know where we're staying, stop by with him on Christmas" She leaned over the twin closest to the window and stroked Fleek's head. "Be good mister, or no treats."

He chuckled and shook his head. "Never a dull moment huh?"

"Only when we're sleeping..." she sat back down looking to both the twins and stuck out her tongue. "You two are no fun."

Lilly's ears twitched as she nodded pawing at Fleek's head. "I know...Come on...let's go get some fish." She purred and swayed her tail.

"Maybe when you sleep. That's when I get to check in on the girls." Mel smiled. Her nose twitched a bit. "Mana's already asking if she can help with Christmas dinner."

"I'm sure our mother wouldn't mind a Gryphon visiting on Christmas."

"Just around mouth to feed.." He laughed and shook his head.

She laughed. "He can hunt for himself, he's just very... attached..." She shrugged and stretched smirking softly as she poked Mel with her foot. "Hey, maybe she can make us some cookies to share with everyone.. but I think Mrs.Weasley will have dinner covered..."

"You know how she is when someone mentions cooking..." She nodded a bit before resting her head on Harry's shoulder. "She'll have to settle for cookies...but at least they'll be the best cookies every made."

"I'm sure mum wouldn't mind having some help. We'll be there for a few days as well. She can cook other dinners. It doesn't have to be Christmas."

She smiled and nodded. "I'm sure she's very happy right now." she giggled and hummed softly looking up at the ceiling, relaxing as she waited for the train to start.

He smiled softly relaxing a bit, blushing softly, looking off to the side again.

"Mmhmm..." She yawned a bit closing her eyes. "At least the trains relaxing..it's nice and even rocks you to sleep a little.

"Can't wait to get to the train station. Mum didn't trust us with bringing everyone there..."

"She acted like everyone would be in pieces..."

"I don't think aparating is for me...I'm good with trains..or you know...flying.."

She frowned. "Don't you think it'd be hard to transport..." She paused and counted. "Seven other people would be a bit hard...? We'd be better off with a port key..."

He winced, thinking about the last time he had to deal with a port key. "Could we not...?"

"They'll have to flip for it. I don't think rock paper scissors will work." She chuckled. "Can I pass and just fly there?" She tilted her head.

"No one would actually be in pieces..everyone can go together and only one of us will actually do the work it's not that hard."

She nodded, watching quietly as she leaned back in her seat, careful not to lean more to one or the other. Downside of two boyfriends, favoritism.

He blinked. "I could fly with you on my broom if you want..."

He looked down at her before he chuckled and pushed her over to Fred before leaning against the window.

He smiled and wrapped his arm around her.

"I've never had anyone fly with me before..but you know where you're going." She smiled and nodded. "Sure. I've never had a flying buddy." Mel looked over the window and blinked. "Ooo~ I think I can see the station!"
