Loki just laughed quietly and shook his head, pulling his brother over again before Thor could wander too far off.

Thor didn't wander far: he was already getting tired (as much as he didn't want to admit it) and winding down for the night. It had been a long few days, and he wanted to sleep. Eventually, he crawled into his brother's lap and curled up to sleep.

Loki let him, relaxing a bit once Thor was asleep. It was much more peaceful now, and the trainers didn't seem so bad so far.

After a little while, Faye stretched a bit and got up.

"I'm heading to bed," she said. "We can decide where to go from here in the morning."

"Good idea." Rei grinned a bit and got up as well. "I'll leave the room open for you two to use," she told Loki before she went into the PD room she'd practically claimed as hers.

Loki nodded and took his brother in to settle him on the bed. Loki himself would likely settle in a bit later.

Rei got up the next morning and started on breakfast, because she could see Tony getting impatient. So she started cooking for everyone.

Faye was lured out by the smell of breakfast not long after.

"Morning," she said as she shuffled over.

"Morning. Bruce made some tea." Rei grinned briefly. "No coffee though. Tony hasn't given me a portal coffee machine yet."

Faye snickered.

"Tea's good enough," she said, going to get a cup.

"Good." Rei finished up breakfast and got her food before letting the others at it.

"So what are we doing today, Brain?" Faye asked as she sat down next to Rei with a plate.

"Wandering around again?" Rei shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me. Preferably not getting in trouble."

Faye nodded.

"Wandering sounds good. Where do we want to meander towards?" She fiddled with her dex for a moment before opening the map. She blinked when the app blossomed into a full-on hologram about two feet wide and a foot tall. She blinked again and looked at Tony. "What did you do?"

"Made a few improvements." Tony shrugged. "I was bored."

Wordlessly, Rei shoved her dex at Tony. He grinned broadly and took it and started to tinker immediately.

"Improvements?" Faye asked. "We're in the middle of the woods! How did you manage this without any of anything? You haven't even left my sight in the last fifteen hours, how did you manage this?"

"Sometimes, it's best not to ask," Bruce commented.

Tony just grinned and pulled things out of his pockets to get to work on Rei's dex.

"I think that means he's just a magical tech guy and we shouldn't question these gifts." Rei grinned.

"Magic tech guy," Faye mused. "Isn't that an oxymoron?"

"You would think," Bruce replied.

"It is, but this is also Tony we're talking about," Rei pointed out.

Faye just shook her head a bit.

"This is a phenomena I will likely never understand," she said. "Future-tech upgrades in the middle of the woods should not be possible."

"Hello, this is me we're talking about," Tony said, waving a little laser-type tool around. "I've got stuff in my room. I'm never without technology."

Faye was about to reply when she paused.

"Is that like a sonic screwdriver or something?" she asked, looking at the laser tool.

"Something like that," Tony agreed, going back to work on Rei's dex. "Something I built a little while back. Handy little thing."

Faye just blinked.

"I had no idea what I was signing up for," she said finally. "Not a clue. But it's awesome."

"It is indeed." Rei grinned as she watched Tony tinker. "This is just fantastic all around."
