Faye followed, trying really hard not to openly gawk at everyone around them. It was starting to really sink in that this was all real, and that she and Rei were honestly there.

Rei was quiet through their lunch, though she did watch bishis running around town with open curiosity.

"So I wonder how far we have to go to get to where we can catch one of our own?"

"I have no idea," Faye admitted. "Maybe we should ask someone?" Because that thought had crossed her mind as well. She was quiet for a moment. "I wonder if it's a sort of 'don't go into the tall grass' thing? Like in the pokemon games?"

"Maybe we can ask the café owner when we're done," Rei said. "She looks pretty nice, and she's got at least three of 'em around helping her. So I'd guess she could help us, give us some advice."

Faye nodded.

"I like that idea," she said. "Well, I'm ready when you are."

Rei nodded and finished with her lunch before she got up to go pay and talk to the trainer.

"Enjoy your lunch?" the owner asked with a little grin.

"Yeah, thanks," Faye replied, grinning a bit. "It was great."

"My pleasure." She grinned. "So I saw you two coming out of the professor's office. New or just needed some help?"

"We're both new," Faye said. "Still trying to wrap our heads around everything. It's all so... fantastic. But we did have a quick question. The professor didn't really go into detail on how the... catching thing works. Like where are we supposed to go?"

The owner had to bite her lip briefly to keep from laughing. "Anywhere outside our towns, really. They're all over. There's no specific place I can tell you to go. Some of them like to live in forest areas, some of them live in more open areas. I caught that one--" she nodded to her Clint Barton, who was cleaning glasses, "--a few miles out from town. We're in the middle of Marvel territory here."

Faye blinked.

"Like, 'Avengers' or just Marvel?" she asked to clarify. Because she was already ticking off different Marvel universes in her head.

"Marvel in general. Although I've noticed there is a difference between the comic book characters and the movie characters. But there isn't really a difference between all the comic book universes because that would just be way too hard. But, yes, this is general Marvel everything land." The trainer grinned.

"Interesting." Faye grinned. "Thanks for the help."

"No problem. Good luck hunting." She smiled at both of them. "Oh, and when you do catch someone, don't program in nicknames. Ask them first. They tend not to like it when you give them nicknames and haven't known them more than five minutes yet, even if you've watched the movie or read the book a hundred times."

"Good to know, thanks," Faye said. "Things Orientation Doesn't Tell You, and all that."

"No kidding." The owner snorted. "I'm sure you'll find a lot more of those Things Orientation Doesn't Tell You."

"Thanks for all the help," Faye said. "I'm not sure if you'll see us again, but either way, thanks."

"No problem. Have fun." She grinned and waved them out of her shop.

"Well, if all people are that nice I don't think we'll have a problem." Rei grinned briefly as she headed towards the gate again.

"Yeah," Faye said as she walked with her friend. "So really we just have to wander around and hope for the best." She grinned. "We're wandering around in Marvel. That's awesome."

"No kidding." Rei grinned. "Let's see who we can find wandering around in Marvel then shall we?" She nodded to the guard as they left town.

"Let's go," Faye said, grinning. She was looking forward to it now.

Rei grinned and kept walking, though she didn't stray too far from the path just yet. She wasn't comfortable enough for that.

Faye didn't stray far from the path, either. She jumped at noises in the woods around them, and stayed close to Rei.

Rei paused when she heard rustling off in the bushes too even and loud to be an animal. She exchanged a look with Faye, raising her eyebrows.

Faye looked at Rei.

"I'll go first?" she asked, tentatively taking a ball from her belt.
