"God, so much sass," Faye agreed, grinning. "The whole MCU is full of so much sass, it's amazing."

"It is."

"We can still hear you," Tony said dryly.

"We know." Rei grinned and flicked a bit of dough at him. He caught it and ate it with a grin.

"Needs more sugar."

"Shut up Stark."

Faye snickered and settled in.

"So," she said after a bit. "Are we going to head out in the morning, or stay here for a few days? The tension here isn't the same as some other towns, but the road isn't a bad option, either."

"We can head out whenever, I just need to go pick up a few more things from the grocery store before we go." Rei shrugged. "Could be fun to wander around on the road for a while, see who we can see out and about."

"Sounds good to me," Faye said. "And we can get away from the theft rumors for a while. Those make me nervous."

"Same here." Rei shrugged. "We'll feel better on the road. Besides, it'll be fun." She grinned.

"Yup," Faye said. She grinned. "We can wander around a bit more, and then head back to familiar territories for a while. Sound good?"

"Sounds good to me," Rei agreed with a grin. "You want the shower first?"

"Sure, if you want me to," Faye said, getting up. "Are you going to be baking for a while yet?"

"Just waiting for this batch of cookies to come out of the oven and then I'm done for today." Rei shrugged.

"Alright, then I'll go shower first," Faye said, heading to the bathroom.

Rei took the cookies out of the oven and kept everyone away from them to cool down. And then she took her shower.

By the time Rei was out of the shower, Faye was dozing on her bed. There were three PD doors set up near her bed, and one of them was open to show Bruce meditating inside.

Rei noticed that some of her guys had opened some PD rooms as well. Loki was settling Thor in bed, Logan had a beer, Niko and Cal were in a shared room, and Erik was just lounging with a beer of his own. She snorted at them all.
