Amy nodded a bit.

"This must be how it's supposed to feel all the time," she said. "It's wonderful."

Loki smiled a bit. "Indeed. You will have to see over the next few days how you fare."

Amy nodded.

"For now, I'm alright," she said. She cuddled a bit closer to him.

Loki nodded his satisfaction of that and relaxed there, enjoying his time with her. He had a few thoughts now that she was stable, stable enough to travel.

Amy laid her head on his shoulder, just enjoying her new stability.

"I was worried it wouldn't work," she said. "But it did. And even my shields are better now. The code is less cluttered, more streamlined, it works so much better than before. And I think it may be self-updating."

"I hope you realize how little that means to me," Loki said, his voice dry but amused. He'd caught most of it, but there were some phrases in there he just had no clue.

"I don't think I'll need upgrades anymore," Amy said, grinning a bit. "And there aren't useless bits of progrm to get in the way, I think Tony made it much more efficient."

Loki nodded. "Good," he said quietly. He wasn't a fan of Stark on the best of days, but he could appreciate that the man had made Amy's life easier.

"And I don't feel like I'm drowning in a sea of minds anymore," Amy said softly. "I feel steadier now."

"You seem steadier," Loki agreed. "Less concerned. More in control."

"I feel that way," Amy agreed. "I feel more anchored now."

"Good." Loki pulled her a bit closer. He didn't want to try anything else just then, since she was still adjusting, but now it was possible... He'd have to consider.

Amy snuggled closer, sighing softly in contentment. She curled up, tucking herself against his side.

Loki stayed there, pleased, and started planning. Already she was much more comfortable. In a few days, perhaps it would be a good time to take her to his home again, but this time on a quieter trip.

A few days later, Amy was still just as steady, and there hadn't been any glitches so far with her extremis. It was the best she'd ever felt, and she was enjoying it.

So Loki decided that was a good time to take her on a little vacation.

"How would you feel about revisiting Asgard?" he asked her, absently picking up a cat to play with.

"Going back?" Amy asked, looking at him. "Any particular occasion?"

"None in particular. Simply a quieter visit." Loki smiled a bit. And a more private one, but he didn't need to say that yet.

Amy considered it for a moment, and then nodded.

"A quieter visit sounds nice," she said. "Are you sure it's alright if we go?"

Loki nodded. "I know a secret way in, we'll be fine," he said with a shrug. "We'll be in and out before anyone realizes we've come and gone."

"A secret way?" Amy asked, intrigued. "Those are really a thing?"

"Indeed. There are several into and out of Asgard." Loki smiled. "I don't think even I know them all yet."

"I thought those were just stories," Amy said. "I wasn't sure they were actually real things." She grinned. "That's really cool."

Loki allowed himself a few moments of pride. "I shall show you one such entrance tomorrow, if you wish to come with me."

Amy smiled.

"Sure," she said. "Sounds like fun."
