Lea helped gather everything up and then take stuff down to their car. She'd call and cancel their rent on the apartment later.
By the time they got to Stark Tower again, it was after normal business hours, which made her feel better since she was carrying boxes over to the elevator.

Amy carried the rest of their things. They didn't have more than they could take in one trip; constantly running meant they had to be able to pack and be gone at a moment's notice. She looked at her sister when they got into the elevator.
"Which floor?"

"Three from the top. Whatever insanely high number that is." Lea shrugged. Because she'd never actually bothered to look up how many floors the Tower had.

Once they stepped off on the appropriate floor, Lea glanced around. She'd heard about Stark's famous AI, of course. But she didn't know what to expect.
"If you'll continue down the hall to the suite at the end, Mr. Stark said he'll be with you in an hour or so," Jarvis reported from the ceiling.
Lea jumped and then grinned. Oh that was so cool and she wanted one.

Amy just jumped. Oh, that would take a while to get used to. Cautiously, she followed her sister down the hall.

Lea blinked when she found they had a suite to themselves with a kitchenette, a living room, a bathroom, and a large bedroom with room for two beds if they wanted.
"Well, guess we're not imposing all that much if he has rooms like these lying around unused."

"I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere this nice before," Amy said, looking around. "This is insane."

"And yet somehow it very much seems like Stark." Lea set her stuff down and started setting up her computer at a desk. "I mean, you should see his lab, it's the top floor of R&D. That place is magical. Everything I could ever want to play with, and mechanical and technical stuff and electronics and it's just so wonderful. I could live in there."

"Magical, really?" she asked. "That good?"

"Yes, I'll have to show you! It's fantastic." Lea sighed happily. "I'll see if I can get Stark to agree to it. In a few days, maybe."

Lea managed to shake herself a bit. "Seriously, though, he has computers better than this." She tapped hers. "And the tablets, I should get you one, they're nice. Although he doesn't have tea there, so I'll still have to go camp out in your tea shop."

"I might buy a stash of the calming tea to keep here," Amy said.
"Or take Bruce's," Tony said from the doorway. Amy jumped. "You know," he added to Leandra, "if you like my lab that much, I might let you play in it. If you're lucky."

Lea did jump and whirl around to look at him. "That was not an hour!" she said, already mortified that she'd been gushing about his lab.

"Uh, let's see, I've got two master assassins in the kitchen," Tony said, "A man with breath-taking anger management issues down in the lab, a supersoldier in the gym, and a demigod on the roof. I don't think there's anything else that needs my immediate attention." He grinned a bit.

As if Lea needed reminding that they were surrounded by the Avengers. She snorted quietly at him.
"I'm pretty sure there's always something that needs your attention, Mr. Stark, you just ignore half of them."

Lea snorted, shaking her head at him. "I do hope you're not counting me as a minion and a code monkey, I'm one or the other." Absently, she reached back to punch in a few keys on her computer to get it hooked up to the interwebs again.

Tony shrugged. His code monkeys were his minions, it was all the same to him. He looked around and spotted Amy.
"So that's what you look like when you're not drugged to the gills," he commented. He glanced between her and Lea. "Same face. Creepy." Then he did a double-take at Lea's computer. "And what the hell is that ancient thing? That has to be what, five years old? There are iPods that process faster than that thing. That's a travesty."

"Now it's just a challenge." Lea sat down and got over to his databases. She didn't demolish them this time, instead going back to her normal crumble a section of the wall strategy.
