Lea rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. "Fine, keep your secrets. I think it's about time to return the RV, anyway."

Loki nodded, holding out a hand silently, simultaneously offering her support and reminding her that he'd help. And maybe something else, but he wasn't looking at that right now.

"Then return it and let's go back," Tony said. "I think Bruce might have some results, anyways, didn't you say you wanted those?"

Amy hesitated for a moment, and then slowly reached out to take his hand. She wasn't used to accepting help and support from anyone but Lea, so she wasn't very confident about it, but she was trying.

"Only if they actually get me somewhere," Lea said, heading for the RV again. "Amy, if you're coming with me, I'm going to return the RV and gather up the kittens again."

Loki just raised an eyebrow at Amy, leaving it up to her. He'd go with her either way.

Amy looked at her sister and nodded.

"Yeah," she said, "I'll help. I'll go gather the kittens if you want to gather our things."

Lea nodded and headed into the RV, starting to pack everything up so they could return the RV without a problem.

Loki just followed Amy in and sort of helped gather up cats.

Tony raised an eyebrow but waited by his car. He was allergic to so much wilderness. There was barely cell phone reception.

Amy blinked when Loki started to help gather cats. She hadn't been expecting that.

Lea looked at Amy and Loki and made an executive decision that they needed time. "You good to drive?" she asked Amy, holding out the keys. "Just back to the rental place."

Amy blinked.

"Yeah, sure," she said, taking the keys. "What about you?"

"I'll go with Tony and make sure he doesn't crash," Lea said easily. "Or fall off the road or something, since that's possible at the speeds he drives."

"You'll be okay?" Amy asked. A valid question; she knew how high-tech Tony's cars could be.

"Yeah, I'll be okay. I'll just pester him if I feel like I'm going to start taking apart his car." Lea shrugged. "Or I'll make him pull over and call you to pick me up. You'll probably be behind us."

Amy nodded.

"Alright," she said. She gave her sister a quick hug.

Lea returned it. "Call me if you need anything, okay?" she said, glancing at Loki before looking back at Amy.

"I will," Amy said. "Promise." Not that she thought anything would happen; somehow, she got the feeling that Loki wanted to look after her.

"Good." Lea headed back out of the RV and into Tony's car, settling in easily. "I'm ready to go when you are."

Loki just settled into the passenger's seat a little gingerly.

"Good," Tony said. Turning on the car, he threw it into drive and took off.

Amy just grinned a bit and pulled out of the park a bit more sedately than Tony in his Audi.

Lea was more used to it this time so she didn't cling to the seats, but she did keep an eye on him. Just in case.

Loki was glad for that and relaxed back in his seat. Okay, this he could handle.

Tony absolutely knew what he was doing when he was driving, even if he was doing almost twice the speed limit at times. Hey, he hadn't crashed yet, right?

Amy glanced at him, grinning a bit, and kept driving. She didn't necessarily like driving the vacation equivalent of a tank, but she had to so she put up with it.

"Tony," Lea said, looking at him. "I don't think you need to be going quite that fast."

Loki just settled in. He knew it was going to be a decently long ride.

"We're fine," Tony said, although he did ease off the gas a little.

It did take a while to get back to the rental place. Amy didn't immediately see Tony's car, but she figured it was because they'd gotten there first and went to grab some snacks or something.

Lea was pretty sure Tony didn't want kittens in his Audi so she'd had Jarvis call Happy to come by with an SUV for them, their kittens, and their stuff. She was waiting by the car when Amy and Loki arrived and grinned, going to go grab stuff.

Amy already had her bag over one shoulder and a cat carrier in each hand, so there wasn't much left to grab. She glanced around warily, now that they were back in a populated area, but for the moment, she was okay.

Lea moved everything else over to the car before settling in, staying quiet for the trip back. Then she helped get everything up to the room and let the cats out to get settled in again.

Amy took her time settling in with the cats. She felt confined again, as if she was wrapped completely in a woolen blanket with no way out. But she dealt with it the best she could and made herself some tea.

Tony, on the other hand, made sure Lea was settling in before heading back down to his workshop. He wasn't running from unfamiliar feelings, nope, not at all.

Loki didn't leave immediately, instead watching to make sure Amy was okay. He was already planning on making regular outings with Amy.

Lea ended up not being able to really settle in again for a few days, and then she got back to the lab and go back to work, waiting on more progress from Bruce.
