"Alright. I can go stay with Loki or I can ask Steve, maybe. He's pretty nice." Lea looked a bit unsure though. And she wasn't going to ask Tony unless she had to.

"I'm sorry I can't offer more," Bruce said apologetically.

"It's okay," Lea said with a little shrug. "Don't worry, I'll find somewhere to sleep. I'll see you at dinner." She backed off from his room and then stood in the hallway, debating who to ask next.

For once, Tony's timing was good: he came out of his room just as Lea was back in the hallway.

"There you are," he said. "Thought you got swept away on us."

"Nope," Lea said after a moment. "Just been doing a bit of exploring, you know, wandering feet and all that." She shrugged.

"Find anything good?" Tony asked. "Supposedly this place is all science, but I call bullshit on that, I mean, honestly, how is any of this science?"

"Very advanced science?" Lea shrugged. "I'm not really sure. I haven't seen too much yet, just more of the inside of this place."

"This is not science, I know science, this is just weird," Tony said. "I don't like magic, I don't like it at all, it doesn't follow the rules."

"That's kind of the idea behind magic," Lea said with a brief grin. "You don't have to follow the rules."

"It's terrible," Tony said. "Makes no sense at all."

Lea snorted. "Well, I'm going to go see if I can find a place to sleep tonight, so I'll see you at dinner."

"You don't have a room?" Tony asked, blinking. "Weird. I mean, I've got more room than I could use, so I mean, if you want..." He trailed off, not entirely sure how to offer without sounding creepy.

"No, apparently they didn't count on us, so neither of us got rooms," Lea said with a shrug. "If you don't mind, I guess I could crash on your couch. I mean, Steve was next on my list, so..."

"Sure go ahead, no problem," Tony said, opening the door more. "Not like I'm going to use it."

Lea still hesitated a moment before she headed inside, claiming a couch as her own and sitting down.

Tony was poking around the room, trying to figure out how the sconces on the walls were lit without electricity or fire. So far, he wasn't successful, and he was muttering quietly to himself.

Lea watched him for a few moments before she shook her head, snorting quietly to herself. He wasn't going to figure it out anytime soon, but she didn't want to ruin his fun.

Finally, Tony gave up with a huff.

"Makes no sense," he grumbled.

"Better get used to that," Lea said with a little grin, leaning back against her couch and pulling out an e-reader.

Tony made a face, but pulled his phone out of his pocket and fiddled with it. At least his phone still made sense, even if it couldn't reach any networks at the moment.

Lea ended up relaxing until dinner time, when one of the maids came by with a gown for her and told her they were expected to dress for dinner tonight. Then she started swearing.

Tony was mildly surprised at the creativity of her swearing.

"Should I go into another room so you can change?" he asked when she paused to take a breath. "Not that, you know, I haven't seen everything at least once, but don't women have this thing about changing in front of people?"

Lea took the dress, scowled, and looked at him when the maid shut the door again.

"Well I'm going to need you to do the laces up in the back, so I don't care." She kicked off her shoes, muttering something along the lines of, "At least I brought a pair of heels."

Tony shrugged and went back to fiddling with his phone until she was ready.

Lea emerged a little bit later in the gown, scowling only a little.

"I hate laces on gowns, they're annoying."
