Tony glanced over, and then did a spectacular double-take.

"That's what they gave you?" he asked. He couldn't help but give her an appreciative once-over. "It's great. Really nice. Tony Stark seal of approval."

"You would approve," Lea said with a snort, walking over to him and turning so he could get to the laces. "It's bright and ostentatious and just your colors. If I find out Loki was behind this he's getting booted off the Tower."

Tony snorted as he examined the laces for a moment.

"You really think he'd do this?" he pointed out. "That guy'd be more likely to try to put me in a dress. Not that he'd succeed, of course, I'd never wear a dress, but still." Carefully, he tried to tighten the laces on the dress a bit.

"I'm not exactly made of glass, Tony," Lea said, clearly amused. "You can tighten the laces a bit. You won't kill me or anything." Especially not since she still had the upgrade helping out her healing, but she didn't feel the need to remind him of that just then.

"How am I supposed to know?" Tony retorted. "I don't know anything about dresses or anything like that, honestly, I have no reason to know such things. For all I know the dress will break or something." But he did pull the laces a bit tighter.

Lea just shook her head and waited for him to finish.

"Alright, ready to go to this mandatory torture session?"

"Yeah, sure, two seconds," Tony said, sidling into a side room briefly. He'd been given things to change into, as well.

Lea rolled her eyes but waited for him patiently, taking the time to get used to the dress. She wasn't exactly used to wearing dresses, after all.

Tony came back out a few minutes later, adjusting his sleeves. It wasn't what he was used to wearing, but he knew how to look sharp regardless, so it didn't turn out too badly.

"Okay, let's get this show on the road," he said.

Lea grumbled a bit but walked with him out of his room and from there over to the dining hall, along with the rest of the group. She didn't exactly look or feel comfortable with this.

And if Lea looked a bit uncomfortable, Amy was worse off. Her green dress fit well and was easy enough to move in, but she was still glancing around warily and staying close to Loki.

Lea did manage to snag a seat by Amy, sitting next to her sister and trying to settle down.

"How are you holding up so far?" she asked quietly.

"It's like I keep walking into a brick wall," Amy murmured back. "Over and over, every time I go past one of them here. Mental strength here is enormous."

"Somehow I'm not surprised." Lea shook her head a bit. "Long as you don't get yourself into trouble you should be fine."

Amy nodded.

"I've been keeping to myself as much as possible," she agreed. She tugged slightly at her dress.

"Yeah. Same." Lea sighed quietly. "Although I do want to explore a bit, just to see."

Amy nodded a bit. She did want to explore, but the desire was tempered by not wanting to get too close to any large groups of Asgardians. That was just begging for a headache.

Thor walked in a little after they did, out of his armor and wearing a much more comfortable-looking red and silver tunic. He grinned when he saw Tony and Lea.

"Ah, good, the servants received my instructions," he commented.

Lea blinked, looking flabbergasted. His instructions? He was the one that put in the red and gold ostentatious thing? But she managed not to say anything about that.

"Tony approves of it heartily," she said, her voice a tad dry.

"As I anticipated," Thor replied, nodding. Because, contrary to popular belief, Loki wasn't the only observant one.

Lea snorted quietly and settled down again, shifting once or twice to get the dress to fall right.

Amy couldn't help but snort softly as she heard the exchange. Apparently, even Thor had noticed that Lea and Tony were into each other. She absently picked at some of the gold edging on her own dress.

Fortunately, dinner was mostly uneventful after that, people settling into eating and conversations, which was good.

It was even better when they all finished and Lea figured she could go change out of the dress.

Loki, on the other hand, was too busy keeping an eye on Amy to really participate in the conversation (not that anyone tried to include him, really).

Amy stayed pretty quiet during dinner, only really speaking when she was spoken to.

Thor noticed how much attention his brother was paying to the girl. It was rather interesting; he hadn't seen Loki take that sort of interest in anyone in a long time.

Tony, on the other hand, thrived on the attention he was getting from everyone and was having a great time.

After dinner was over, a few hours later, Loki waited for a few others to get up before he stood, offering Amy a hand up.

Lea stood and took a couple seconds for the room to stop spinning. Thor might have offered her mead and she might have had a bit too much. Maybe. Just maybe.

Tony noticed and held out a hand to steady her. He'd already experienced mead, so he knew how much not to drink, and he was much steadier on his feet.

"Careful," he said. "They drink really strong stuff here."

Amy accepted the help up, shaking out her skirt a bit as she stood. She didn't say anything, but she smiled at him a bit in thanks.
