Amy nodded.

"Alright, then," she said. She turned a bit pink when he smiled at her, but she managed one in return.

Loki gave her a bit of time to relax and do some exploring of the hill as she liked, taking his time to brush out Sleipnir's mane and relax himself.

Amy did explore a little bit, but she didn't go too far; she didn't really want to stray too far away from Loki. She eventually wandered her way back to him, settling down next to the two.

Loki would have been content to stay there all day, except he figured she might be hungry, and he knew Sleipnir needed to go back. So after an hour or so he got up and offered her a hand up.

Amy accepted the help and got to her feet.

"Are we heading back?" she asked.

"I need to get Sleipnir back, but after that, we still have the rest of the day to do whatever you wish." Loki raised an eyebrow at her.

Amy nodded.

"Alright," she said. "I wouldn't mind seeing more, once we get back."

Loki nodded and started back down the hill towards the stables again. If he timed it right, he could show her the court and a few buildings while everyone was busy eating.

Amy followed, just enjoying their surroundings as they went. She didn't think she could ever get tired of how beautiful Asgard was. She noticed that their pace slowed significantly as they got closer to the stables again, and she knew very well why; Loki was going to drag it out as long as he could.

Indeed, Loki all but physically dragged his feet taking Sleipnir back. And when he finally did take Sleipnir back to the stalls, he placated him with promises to see him again before they left.

Amy hung back near the entrance of the stables, letting Loki have the last bit of time with Sleipnir. She could see how important it was to them both, and she didn't want to intrude.

It didn't take Loki long to emerge again, and then he looked at her.

"If you'd like, some buildings should be fairly quiet now to explore."

Amy smiled a bit.

"Sure," she said. "That should be fun."

Loki nodded and led her up to the main hall, slipping inside. There was no one else around, leaving them free to explore.

Amy looked around in awe at everything. The main hall was vast and grand, and was like nothing she'd ever seen before on Earth.

"You grew up here?" she asked Loki in wonder.

"Indeed." Loki smiled a bit. "Thor and I both. We had run of the place, so to say." He shrugged.

"That must have been wonderful," Amy said. She grinned a bit. "I bet you were adorable as a child."

Loki snorted. "Fortunately there are no photos to look at," he said with a faint grin. "Thor was always being exclaimed over as being a darling little boy, and then a handsome young man."

"And you?" Amy asked. "I'm sure you were just as darling." She hesitated, blushing a little. "And just as handsome, if not in the same way."

Loki blinked before he smiled. "Thank you," he said quietly. "I was not so popular as my brother. But I am pleased to hear you think well of me."

"I can't not," Amy said, still a bit pink. "Not after how well you've treated me." She looked at him. "You've always been so kind. And as I understand that it's not exactly your natural state, that means I appreciate it even more."

Loki just smiled a bit. "It pleased me to treat you so," was all he said on that matter. He found himself pleasantly surprised by the attention, and her admission.

Amy just smiled, turning a bit pinker, glancing at him and then down at her hands. She wasn't entirely sure what this new feeling was that she felt, or what to do with it.

After a few moments, Loki offered her his arm so he could walk around the hall with her. He fully intended to take advantage of this new development.

It took a moment, but Amy took his arm and let him lead her around. She could feel the warmth of his body near hers, and it was oddly comforting.
