Amy made a faint whining sound. She wasn't looking forward to being around so many strong minds for so long.

Loki couldn't help himself; he hugged her a bit tighter at that. "Any time you want out, just tell me," he reiterated, looking at her.

Amy almost protested, but didn't.

"We'll see," she said after a moment, unconsciously snuggling a bit closer. "Maybe. I'll have to see how long I can go."

Loki just nodded and held her there, quite content with that for the time being. That was very nice, after all.

The situation was much reversed the next night, however, when Amy found herself amidst a small group of Aesir on her own. They were leaving her be, for the most part, but it was still not comfortable.

Tony was thriving in the crowd, showing off bits and pieces of his technology and bragging a bit about his intellect. He was having a great time.

Loki was talking to Odin and Thor and trying to skip off so he could go keep track of Amy again. He knew she had to be uncomfortable.

Lea, on the other hand, was not nearly as comfortable as Tony, and slipped away from the crowd, managing to find Amy quickly and settling next to her.

Amy moved a bit closer to her sister.

"It's almost suffocating in here," she said softly.

"I know what you mean," Lea said quietly. "Although I imagine you've got it much worse." She still shivered a bit when one of them passed too close to her, fighting the Extremis impulse to defend herself.

Amy flinched slightly when one of the Warriors Three walked by.

"It's bad," she said, nodding.

"Come on, I know I saw an exit somewhere around here," Lea said, moving over to the wall and then walking until she found an exit. She didn't even care where it went as long as it didn't go into another party.

Amy nodded, following her sister. She paused when she saw a door.

"That way," she said, nodding to it. "Goes out to a balcony, I think."

"Okay." Lea wasted no time going to the door and then heading outside. She shivered a bit, since evening gowns were generally not made to withstand snowy weather, but she didn't go back inside. "Wonder how much of a break we've got?"

"Depends on how fast we get cold," Amy mused. "If we nudge our Extremis from passive to active, we'll stay warm longer, but we have to be careful with that."

"Yeah, I'm going to wait on that until Tony and Bruce and I are done tampering with it." Lea sighed, watching her breath mist. "So how have you been enjoying this little trip?"

"I really kind of am," Amy said. She gently nudged her Extremis a little closer to active, and her skin took on a faint reddish glow. "Here, get closer, I have a better hold on mine, I can keep it under control enough to keep us warm."

Lea moved over closer to her, relaxing a bit at the heat Amy was putting off. "Good. Things are working out fine with you and Loki? He's not giving you any problems or anything, is he?"

"Not at all," Amy said. "He's been a perfect gentleman." She smiled a bit. "He took me to meet Sleipnir, and then to some of his favorite places around here."

"Wow. That actually sounds pretty nice." Lea grinned. "I'm a bit jealous, I think."

"I think he was showing off," Amy admitted, blushing a bit even though it wasn't visible under her Extremis glow. "Especially during the sparring match, I think."

"I thought he looked a little too smug," Lea said with a brief grin. "And what do you think of that? Good, bad, neutral?"

"I'm... not sure," Amy said. "It could be anything at this point, I think."

Lea hummed a bit at that, watching her. "Well, if the guy likes you, and you like him..." She let her voice trail off.

Amy blushed a bit more, her faint glow intensifying for a moment before fading again.

"I don't even know if he feels that way," she protested.

"Okay, first protest is about him, not you, so you do feel for him," Lea said with a grin. "Good to know. I can find out for you, if you want. If he does feel that way about you."

"I--I didn't say that," Amy pointed out, flustered. She made sure to keep her Extremis under control, though.
