"And I can't make him come around," Amy said, sighing. "Not without getting a whole lot of people upset with me, including my sister." She made a face.

"Not to mention it is a very bad idea to try to muck with things like that," Loki said. "But fortunately you have already dissuaded yourself." He shot her a quick smile.

"However, getting someone else to talk to him is not dangerous."

"That sounds like the only good option at this point," Amy said, nodding. She glanced at him, trying to decide if Stark would even listen to him or if she had to ask someone else.

"I think it would be best if I were to ask my brother," Loki said with a faint, rather sardonic smile. "I doubt that Stark would pay me much heed."

"I was thinking the same thing," Amy said. "Though I hadn't quite made the intuitive leap to Thor, yet."

"Thor is well aware of how Stark feels," Loki said with a shrug. "He is more observant than most people give him credit for."

"I've noticed," Amy said. "It was a bit unnerving the first time I realized it."

Loki snorted. "He has that effect on people," he said with a faint grin. "I will ask him to speak to Stark once we are back on Midgard."

"Good plan," Amy said, nodding. "I like that plan." She relaxed slightly after that.

Loki glanced up at the sky and smiled a bit, holding out his hand to her.

"Come on, we need to get going if we'll be in time."

Amy blinked.

"Where are we going?" she asked as she took his hand. She noticed how cool his skin was against hers. "Sorry, I might still be running a little hot from earlier. Sometimes it takes a little while to regulate again."

"Not a problem." Loki teleported them up to a higher vantage point, turning her a bit. "I am not the only magic-user on Asgard, of course. When I was younger, I would help arrange these spells."

As if on cue, a spell like a firework exploded, sending dazzling gold and silver sparks across the sky.

Amy watched, wide-eyed and breathless, at the display. It was spectacular, better than any fireworks she'd seen before.

"Oh wow," she breathed, leaning a bit closer to him. "It's fantastic."

Loki put his arm around her, looking rather smug. "I am rather partial to this part, myself," he said casually, watching multi-hued sparks floating away with the breeze from the spells.

"It's wonderful," Amy said. She glanced up at him. "It really is."

Loki smiled a bit and took a few moments longer to be sure of himself (because this could backfire so horribly). Then he leaned down and kissed her.

Amy froze when he kissed her. She hadn't been expecting it, and had no idea how to react. Cautiously, she slowly (and awkwardly) returned the kiss.

Loki didn't mind, and that was all he did. He pulled back a bit, checked to make sure she was okay and not freaking out on him, and then huffed and pulled her closer.

Amy didn't mind being pulled closer, but she was still reeling a bit from the kiss. She'd never had anyone kiss her before, so it was a totally new experience for her.

Loki didn't try anything else, just watching the rest of the magic-fireworks with her. They only had another day after this, and then they'd be going back to Midgard, which he was both looking forward to and dreading.

Tentatively, Amy laid her head on his shoulder as they watched the last of the fireworks. She relaxed a bit more with a small sigh.

By the time the fireworks ended, Loki was more than content with life, and he didn't want to head back inside just yet. But he knew he should let her get some rest.

Amy didn't really want to go back inside yet, either, but it was late and she could feel herself getting tired. So she reluctantly slid out of his grasp.

"I guess I should go and get some sleep," she said.

"Indeed. Tomorrow will be busy again." Loki sighed quietly but transported them directly back to his rooms without letting go of her.

Amy squeaked a bit in surprise at the sudden transport and clung to him a bit tighter. When they were back in his rooms, she loosened her grip.

"I had fun tonight," she said as she gently slipped out of his grasp.
