But even as great as PC gaming is...i don't think I could ever give up on consoles. Shooters like Left 4 Dead 2 or Borderlands 2 or Warframe are games I'll only play on PC but rpgs will always bring me back to consoles, even if they have PC ports. I mean, some of them have decent ports, but for those games, I like having a controller.

Yes to all of this. Well, I guess I should say "Boooooo" to making your wallet cry, but it's all for a good reason. Right? ;D

I grew up on console (like most everyone here), though lately I've been PC. My boyfriend's family is all into PC gaming so that is what I do. We have a 360 (used to have 2 until I sold mine to my family) and we have a Wii, though for the most part all gaming is done on the computer. For some reason I find it easier to be sucked into the world of that game as well, not to mention using a mouse and keyboard seems a bit more graceful that joysticks on a controller.
Like others, I won't fully give up my console games, some titles I may want to get on them (none come to mind at the moment), but then Nintendo did this wonderful thing of coming out with the Wii U. Now, I don't consider that a new console, I see it as an add-on and a nice way to finally realize that odd numbers of people still want to play games together too.

Well I prefer consoles. To me PC gaming is too complicated to bother with upgrading it to play any new games. Also consoles aren't as costly. Also simpler controls.
The only advantage PCs have is Steam but that might not be the case when the Steam machines are out.

I am much more fond of console gaming. For one it is much easier as you don't need to worry about optimization and upgrades. Consoles tend to also be the stronger platform when it comes to jrpgs. While I do like some rpgs which perform well on PC, such as Elder Scrolls and Fallout, I also love game series such as Tales and Final Fantasy. Not only that, but I am oddly attached to same screen multiplayer gaming.

I prefer PC. I mostly use my PS3 for netflicks.

Well, after today, I'm going to say Console Gaming is much, much easier.
Having pulled apart my PC twice now, I don't ever want to look into the damn thing again.
