It's easier when each kiddo has picked a parent. My sister was closer to my dad, I'm a mama's girl.

Yeah, I'm hoping that at least since I got out of the relationship faster than is usual, that maybe I can heal a little faster too.

Yeah, it is easier! Although when it's just me home with them - I rarely have any free time to do much of anything without them.

Hopefully it all works out for you!

Thanks girl. I was gonna try to post a video of my kitty kneading my stomach but it turns out I have no idea how to do that with a video from my phone, haha.

Haha yup pretty much, and as much of a 90's kid as I act, my brother and all my cousins were 80's babies and since I grew up mainly with them and their hand me downs I actually fit more with the 80's crowd. Haha I actually don't think I have too many friends outside of my high school friends that aren't like 5-10 years older than me. <3

I agree with everyone that talking to him and explaining how you feel about everything is important.

Also if this makes you feel any better, my aunt and uncle were together for 24 years - happily before he popped the question. then engaged for another 6. Actually got married on their 30th anniversary. <3

Also have a couple friends that have been dating longer, a friend just recently got engaged after 15 years of being with her boyfriend - and raising 3 kids together lol that was 4 years ago and still haven't gotten married.

Every relationship is different, but if it's important to you to be engaged and married then communication is key.

In everything creative I do, the ultimate thing I'm after is perfect. I want it to be like it's real. It gets fun 'cause most of what I do is fantasy and it has to seem like it could exist. Yes, people aren't perfect, blah blah. Doesn't stop my mind from demanding I go for it, and it won't quit until I succeed.
/"it's okay, I did my best," I say
/"GET RID OF THAT ENTIRE THING RIGHT NOW AND DO IT RIGHT," my mind says
I can understand your point of view, but what is perfect? who created the need for perfection and something that's perfect to one person is a total wreck to someone else.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so as long as your happy with it, then it's good - also if you're not happy with it, keep going until you are.

Just don't cave to what society thinks is perfection.

And then you have me, getting engaged after knowing Alex for less than a year and then having a 2 year engagement. Everyone's relationship is different. Communication is key.

Steel: I would try to help but I'm helpless with things like that. lol!!

It's not for some people. I had so many people accuse me of being pregnant when we got married - haha, I can assure you I wasn't. :P

Lol yeah every single relationship is different.
Thankfully I've actually realized I prefer a relationship with myself right now, been single for over 2 years and it's quite nice. Been getting to know myself and now I get to have my son all to myself to get to know. <3

Which personally I think having a relationship with yourself is the first key to any successful relationship - which I know is TOTALLY off in left ball field from the topic so just ignore my spiel if need be.

It took me a long time to get to a point where I love myself. I've gone through a lot of self blame / self hate and among other things. And finally I have come to love myself and all my flaws.

Ugh, so after 39 weeks of being pregnant I'm finally starting to really see a little swelling in my feet and hands. Nothing major but more than it's be prior to the past. Lol I mean i've had a little swelling and I've gained a good chunk of weight, but still. hah it sucks.

Some people are like that. We need to have everything perfect. It's going to nag at us until we make it perfect. What is perfect? It's what I want, that's what!

MAGGHIA, THAT IS SO CUTE.

Nothing to make you a pessimist like too many failures. ;n;

I think that the fact that you consider these things a failure is a sign you're naturally a pessimist.
