The Weepies are just another great indie folk band I like.
I thought they were getting popular, I saw their latest album for sale at Best Buy,

I once heard a kid in a TV show from the 50s refer to crying as "getting the weepies."

I think that's how they named their band.
They said "movies that made you cry are called Weepies."
