I'm terrified of ladybugs. They'll turn up anywhere, even on your clothes, and they're not going ANYWHERE ELSE unless you try to kill them. I haven't the guts. I don't like bugs!
Bye!
Every single one terrifies me. All the arthropods (except crustaceans; it feels awesome to use that terminology and know you'll understand it). They look scary. Except butterflies, but I probably wouldn't be happy if a butterfly landed on me.
Haha, aw, you're adorable. Wait, wait, wait. You're scared of ladybugs but a crayfish doesn't scare you? Hahaha. I have very little fear of most animals. Arthropods in general don't bother me, but I do have that primal fear of stingers. And I hate crickets and june bugs. And of course, roaches in the house make me feel like I need to clean.
Why, it looks like a lobster! But I do see how they could be scary. Ladybugs will go anywhere and just sit there no matter what. Crayfish keep themselves in the water, far away from me. They look enough like a lobster to not scare me. I'm zoophobic, though, I think, so I'd probably be uneasy if I saw a real one.
/now I want Red Lobster
Haha. I don't eat seafood, so I can't think of them as delicious. I'm not really scared of crustaceans, but I've had my finger pinched hard by a crayfish. Drew blood and everything. It hurt, but the best part was that it made me flinch, and crayfish are really really light. So the thing went flying up onto my shoulder and in my hair. Which was really surprising. But the best part was that the boys sitting next to me screamed like little girls. My professor stopped class to make fun of them. It was hilarious.
Ouch, and LOL! But what class had you interacting with live crayfish?
I don't eat seafood because it smells. I eat chicken fingers and fries at Red Lobster. I'm that person.
It totally hurt, haha. It was a zoology class in my undergraduate years. It was one of my favorite classes. I actually taught the reptile and amphibian section. It did hurt like crazy, though, haha.
No worries, I am totally the person that orders the chicken at Long John Silvers. :D
Oh hush. Ladybugs mean no harm at all. :> They mostly just sit on the plants in our home.
Edit: And I've just learned why. Apparently they like to eat the pests that tend to eat plants or crops.
Heh, Moogle: they're magnificent predators. Would you like to see a video of a ladybug just devouring a crapton of aphids? I wouldn't even call it hunting. It's more like sitting at a buffet. Ladybugs are bamf.
