Male privilege. It exists.
But, so does female privilege ;)

I thought male privilege was what you were talking about when you said "I'm a guy" and then something about not having to worry about stalkers.
But when I said "Is that what you were talking about?" you said you were confused. So, then I was confused. But I figured you weren't talking about that so I completely forgot about that conversation until now.

Oh, no I was referring to my past in the military and how I doubt a stalker could do anything that I'd find threatening without getting themselves hurt in the process. I was unaware of any kind of male privilege.

Oh! I did not know that you had any experience in the military. I would feel sorry for the stalker in that case! :)

And I think saying Thank You is the customary thing...but I'm not going to lie.
I went in for the money. I was getting bored in high school and a recruiter was talking to me about various jobs in the military. I wasnt interested until he brought up how MP was one of the jobs that gave 20k as a sign on bonus, so a week later I was signed up and waiting to head off to BASIC & AIT xD

I looked up some of those terms... MP stands for military police. ^_^
The money is definitely a bonus!
Did you have to travel outside the U.S. to complete your training and employment with the military?

My signing bonus was 20k as well, for EOD.
Then a few months later, they made it 40k for 88M

Nah I did all my training in MO at Fort Leonard Wood.
As for my deployments, yeah I traveled a bit but I don't want to go into details.

They wanted me to go in originally for 88M but I didn't want to deal with all the IED's so I said EFF THAT

That's on top of the 67k GI Bill.
I didn't stay though, so I didn't get any of it.

I wanted to play with the IEDs... from a safe distance, with robots!

Playing with robots sounds fun.

Sadly, I am not familiar enough with all of the vocabulary or I would say something more eloquent :)

The military assigns an alphanumeric code to each specific job, or MOS.
Like, mine was 89D. Pronounced 89 Delta.

I don't remember much from basic training, just random bits and pieces.

Dunno, MP was 37F but if you were 37B you were still an MP, but you were assigned to military prisons.
Infantry was 11B
