I have not done this well in quite a few years actually, thinking about it not since I was a little kid.
I have made a lot of progress, even my therapist says I have made progress, it is a slow journey, but worth it in the end so that my child does not look at me and think it is normal to be the way that I have been, when it is not, nor is it healthy.

Tana can be a good listener as well...I have some experience dealing with alot of stuff.
I have been diagnosed with depression and general anxiety disorder, the shit sucks,
not to mention I also have Attention Deficit Disorder

I have Major Depressive Disorder and ADD too. It majorly sucks, but medication helps a lot. It takes a while to get dosage and type right, though.

indeed, and the fact that I am breast feeding means that I can not take anything for the ADD, there is no growing out of this for me, I was diagnosed at 16, and now that I am finally getting the depression under control the Attention problem is getting worse.

Oh that sucks. I was diagnosed as an adult, but I'm really high functioning with the ADD. I can't afford to go back to the doctor every month for a prescription refill, so I just squirreled away my last bottle. I only take the meds when I HAVE to concentrate.
I've got to get to bed now, but maybe we can talk later! *hugs*

my attention was not the only thing making me non-functionable, but is seems to be rather severe, though I do hope to be able to get it under control
atleast I know what to look for in my kids so they don't get diagnosed late with it like I did.
