I love the Night as the Museum movies. My movie theater had a cardboard cutout display for it, and a couple of my friends and I just about cried.

ah, alrighty ^_^ what kinds of movies do you watch?

Mostly I like action movies a lot - in recent years I've been all over the Fast & Furious franchise, as well as the Marvel hero movies. Cowboys & Aliens, Jason Statham movies, et al. Historical movies, whether fiction or non, like Pride & Prejudice (the 2005 version is my favorite - anything Jane Austen really, since I love her books so much), any Three Musketeers movies, The Duchess. I'm not big into romcoms and/or general comedy, though I don't rule them out entirely. Tropic Thunder is such a riot, I got the DVD. If it's based on a book, my interest is marginally higher: it depends on the book. The Color Purple was good, though sadly I never knew it was a book until a few years after it came out as a movie. Right now I'm reading American Sniper before I go to see the movie. I read Dear John, but have yet to watch the movie. Memoirs of a Geisha was a great book, but the movie was ruined for me when I went to see it, because of a group of tipsy women who did nothing but laugh, snicker, and talk the entire movie.

Oh that's cool, so you really watch a large variety of movies :) I also watch action movies like the ones from Marvel, as well as horror, thriller, comedy, and others ^_^ and of course, the ones based on dystopian novels!

Ugh. If I ever watch a horror movie, my friends have to drag me kicking and screaming into it. Thrillers are the same as horror to me.

Then there's just the odd-ball movies, like Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, and Velvet Goldmine - which I have seen so many times I'm thoroughly sick of it now. Movies based on Broadway shows, like Mama Mia!, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
