I was but I quit it and imvu after a bad breakup, so not anymore, menewsha, tumblr, and reddit are my comforts now :)

That's cool, I used to go on imvu a lot, but that was a loooooong time ago. I loved the three-dimensional avatars they had on there.

Ok I like that but my ex has my account info, and the girl he dumped me for is on IMVU. I think I have my reasons. Oh and people kicked me out alot which can be frustrating as well.

Its ok maybe I shouldn't be so hard on imvu, but it is an odd site.

I only really chatted with real life friends on imvu...maybe like five or six years ago. It's been a long time. I don't even have the thing downloaded onto my computer or anything so can't edit my avatar.

Aw I see ya imvu is overrated.

I still love the three-dimensional-ness of it, though. Luckily, I don't really have enough space on my computer to download it. Otherwise, I might because of nostalgia.

Gaia was awesome when I first joined it. Then it went downhill. What pissed me of the most is that when I joined you didn't get a starter pack of clothes. If your avatar was female you got a rag dress and if you were a guy you got rag pants. You had to work for your clothes. What also ticks me off about that site is that to use multiple poses of an item you had to have multiple of that item.

I joined later than you did, Kirin Rosenbaum, and they updated the starter clothes. If you look in the shops, you'll see a lot of clothing that is only 5 gold. So, each new user got a whole set of starter clothing that included a polo shirt, shorts, pants, shoes, skirt, shirt, et cetera. The multiple poses thing is kind of a bummer, and I'm glad that Menewsha allows us to equip multiple poses if we only have one item. But I mean, that's how Gaia became wealthier, I guess? By having people buy many multiples of contribution items and such.

I know. It pissed me off when they did that. Yeah greedy bastards.

What confuses me is that they keep making these gold sinks to try to remove gold from the economy, but then they also continue to release new gold generators. D:

greetings all... sorry for the long away. I was working on projects and talking to people about things. I have been beading for some time now. I add it into my embroidery so that they look nifty. I don't do bead loom work though I do own one.
I need to talk more with people. I keep hiding under fabric.
