We didn't bother going to my relatives on Christmas other than eating breakfast with my parents, my brother & his girlfriend.
I'm tired of the family drama so I told my Mom we weren't going to spend the holiday with her family.
We went to see Star Wars instead & took mom, but had her home in time to go to her sister's house.

I have a friend who didn't spend Thanksgiving with her family.

The event was fun. Maybe one day I'll be the last poster in Queen's thread. ^_^;

Kirin ~ I really did miss chatting with you during this event.
We spent Thanksgiving with my husband's grandmother & some of his relatives & then spent some time with my parents.
We just needed a change for Christmas, the last year was rather a bad one.
Thanksgiving 2014 was the last holiday we got to spend with my mother in-law, she died just after Valentines day 2015.
She lived 6-8 hours away from us so it was difficult to get the time off to go see her very often.

I was busy at my job and life and such.

I have been last poster in Queenies thread once or twice. It's often come down to a posting battle between Ivvy: and myself.

you all posted in my event thread... so why don't you come and chat here. if you aren't subscribed you should be.

I'm sorry work has been bad.
I was glad I put in for a couple of days off around New Years.
My brother works at the same place as I do & he said yesterday was horrible, I'm so happy I missed it.
Work had already worn me out & then both of my cars are in the shop & I have to have at least one of them for work.
So it was lucky that I had put in for days off when the second car decided to have issues.
I average driving over 100 miles everyday for work.

I had New Years Eve off.

Mine was mostly because I needed to get my car worked on & I had another doctors appointment.
