I still prefer sims 2 over 3 to be honest. The fact there's no loading screens is the only reason that I kept playing it over 2. I'm sort of looking forward to sims 4 now though, the CAS is so different I'll actually be able to make a simself that looks like me :')
Saying that I'm not really patient enough to do that already, my sims/houses always look crap ha
I don't know really. It didn't seem as buggy to me. Also I liked the way it played better than I do with 3. Now that I have more expansions for 3 I don't mind it as much and I'm really looking forward to the new one where you can go to the future comes out :')
I grew up with 2 though and spent the most time playing that. Also, I think the townies had better stories. My favourite family was always the Broke family. I've not really gelled with any in 3 so I usually just make my own sims.
You can go to the future in 4!? I'd like to see some outer space stuff.
I only got 2 when I was nearly done with high school I think. Didn't spend too much time playing it before I was off to college and when I got back I couldn't play it anymore because EAGames is stupid and doesn't let you change computers.
You can go into the future in 3! You can build robots and everything, it looks so cool! It's the first expansion in a long time I've actually been excited for.
I got 8/2 when I was about 9, I loved it. I played that through until 3 came out in 2009 so that was about 6 years playing. I changed computers with my games. I started on my dad's then moved to my own and then one of my friends took the game. I think you can only change them about three times now though. EA does suck most of the time.
I've been watching house decorating videos on youtube and I have so much inspiration for my legacy house now. I can't wait until they can afford a good house soon. My sim's husband is almost an elder though so that sucks
At least it lets you change three times now...with 2 it only lets you change never.
You could still play the basic game, but what's the fun in that if you can't have your own modded characters?!
I usually have my characters set at immortal. I hate seeing them die.
@Bucket Tea: I'm a big fan of machines and mechs, even though I usually don't understand how they work at all where some fans can speak professional jargon and stuff. I just look at their appearance and abilities and drool.
Totally. Until Sims 2, I didn't know that there were companies that would do that! At most they just had you enter the registration code again in the new computer, or had you uninstall the game in the old computer before reinstalling it in another computer.
@Anta: I like shiny things. I've always wanted a robot dog but like a proper one, not those toys that are just an utter disappointment ha.
I still don't see why they'd continue on with that trend. People get new computers, it's a fact. Especially now that they're so cheap in comparison to what they were before.
I want one of those transformers, the real, shiny metal kind, and not those plastic toys you see in shops. 8D
Exactly! And from what I've seen after searching for their customer service, it was crap too, nearly all the reviews left on the page were negative. People would call them and get excuses or not get their problems fixed, etc.
Dang. And they don't released patches for them either? That really sucks. At least Bethesda releases patches for some of the worse glitches and bugs in their games. D:

They don't really pay attention to feedback. They just do whatever they want. >.>
They have some patches but there hasn't been an update in ages and half of the bugs remain unfixed. I've been pretty lucky though because my bugs/glitches are minimal in comparison to some other people's.
@Bucket Tea: Yeah. I love those mechs!! I'd love to have a Jaeger too, but those are waaay too large and I have nowhere to put them.
Yeah...which really sucks.
Wow, lucky. I haven't run across too many glitches in Skyrim though from what I've seen on YouTube some of those bugs are hilarious. The only ones that really bother me are the kind that crashes the game...it's a pain to have to restart the game over and over and lose all your saves and stuff.

But when I was looking at it i could see it's little throat getting big and then small, which was cool.
I was so happy that I managed to catch it~

Awww~ Frog saving! Darn roaches made an appearance here a couple of nights ago. One was on my toothbrush!! Killed it and threw toothbrush away. Now I keep my toothbrush in the little mirror cabinet though. XD
Planning on getting one of those toothbrush sanitizers though because it's neat.

I don't have 3 so I don't know what sorts of differences there are other than 3 having more stuff to do than 2.
