Yes, that is what I meant - we were talking about that, and yeah... I'm American by birth, but my dad's family is from Finland. And I burn like no other. I hate it. >.< My mum and brother aren't as fair skinned as me and it's not fair.

I'm so many, I don't know them all, but the one that most people see is my Finnish heritage because of what they see right off, also my last name, which is very Finnish (and before y'all ask, I won't tell y'all because I am not comfortable giving that out on here, sorry). So that tends to be a give away. Although most Americans can't pronounce my last name correctly.

My Dad has tons of tattoos (ok maybe not tons lol) he has tattoos all over his arms :3 Some are from the army, most others he got within the last 14 years. I think one of them has mine, and my sister's, names on it.

I've never desired to have one, that's for sure lol But I don't hate tattoos (though I think the people who get 90-100% of their body covered in tatoos is a bit extreme ). Even one of my cousins has 2 or 3 small tattoos

I've seen some amazing tattoo work, but have none on myself.
May get a small one with my daughter someday.

My favorite tattoo is the water tattoos that you apply with water, cause they wear off

HIM was going to get a scarification tattoo but HIM's mum objected and convinced HIM to get inked insted.

HIM's tattoo is a Koi carp on HIM's foot, it's the start of HIM turning everything around.

I'm terrified of needles. *hides* >.<

I never minded needles (which is good cause I stick my self with a sewing needle almost every time I sew xD), but I still don't get shots or tattoos.

Me sewing: *sticks the needle threw the fabric.....2 secs later "ow", rinse and repeat*

I think I would need a good shot of something alcoholic before actually getting a tattoo done.
My pain threshold is on the low side.

No no, see sewing needles and needle needles are two different things to me - I do a TON of hand sewing (I make felt plushies by hand) and I am fine with that, but like a hypodermic needle or a needle for tattooing... forget it. *hides*

Um, their both needles lol xD But I don't mind either. I never minded getting shots as a child (not that I had that many anyway). But I haven't gotten a shot in.......well over 14 years.

I know.. but they are different. Not the same... Because I am the one in control of the sewing needle, plus in the end I get something pretty out of the deal with the hand sewn projects I do - like my adorable octopi. :]

HIM's last shots was the set of HPV ones. HIM might be getting a flu shot if the mothership has her way.

I hand sew mostly to mend clothes or Cross-stitch (which is technically embroidery but we won't be technical )
Only project I hand sewed was a stuffed yan ornament for a menewsha contest ^-^

I haven't had a flu shot since I was 10 maybe (might even be longer than that)

I never got the HPV shot - my mom didn't want me to, too many risks involved, and I don't get flu shots because basically you aren't even guaranteed to not get the flu, because there are so many strains of the flu and you are only immunized against one of them, not all of them.

Cross Stitch, I do that as well, (But that too is at home with my parents because I do not have time during school to do crafts) and I do not see it as embroidery. But that's just me.

I got my flu shot yesterday at work, while on a break.
