Vanora: I've a feeling that they won't be decent answers, that will make people happy... just that they need more money and this is the ONLY way that they can go about it. *sighs* But we'll just have to wait and see.
And that's good.
Random: I'm watching Season 8 of Bones and one of the episodes they're talking about NF, which is the condition my roommate has. So interesting. And cool. I actually know what they're talking about - kinda - from my research on NF2 (there are two different ones.. NF1 and NF2 -- my roommate has NF2) so I kinda understand what my roommate is going through - I don't understand enough about it though to explain it, but I though it was interesting that they're dealing with NF in the show! :P

You'll definitely want to watch Gokaiger, and Shinkenger, too.
Goseiger is kinda meh, but compared to its American incarnation( PR Megaforce), it's better.
And Akibaranger, while not an OFFICIAL Super Sentai show(no, seriously, it's in the title, which is Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger("hikounin" meaning "unofficial")), is hilarious and filled with injokes... but it's more for adults than kids.
I wanna get started on more of the older stuff, though. I wish there were more episodes of Goranger subbed...

Pfft. Well here's to hoping they have something good to say.
Oh that's cool. o:
Must feel nice to understand things like that.

Vanora: *fingers crossed for sure*
And yes! It's definitely something that I didn't know about before meeting my roommate, it's a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow anywhere there are nerves. (That's the very very simple explanation.) It's what has caused my roommate go to deaf/blind.
Kasumi: Oh, nice! I'm watching Bones. :]

Vanora: Yeah, it is complicated and not good. It's the reason my roommate is on medical withdrawal from her classes, because she had to undergo an 8 hour back surgery to remove 4 tumors from her spine at the end of the 3rd week of the term.. O.o Something that none of us saw coming. She has NF2 - which is the rarer of the two. But that's basically the extent of my knowledge on it. XP

Kasumi and Vanora: She's getting around a lot better (able to walk now much better than she was at the start of term) - she was pretty much unable to walk without support before the surgery. She's not living here till the end of the month but I did get to see her (and her adorable service dog) today. And I will probably be going to see her again this weekend. But she'll not be going to classes for the rest of term. But at least she's getting the treatment that she needed.
But needless to say, this has put a lot of stress on me as she was relying heavily on me at the start of term, so I was dealing with all of that plus school, living in a new place... etc etc.. being so far from home, and honestly, I'm so close to just giving up saying I've had it and going home. BECAUSE this is NOT what I've signed up for.

I've had my PS3 maybe two weeks(?), and I already have the following: Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, FF XIII and XIII-2, Infamous, and SF IV.
I'm still waiting for a Stateside release of the FF X HD package, though.

I'm sorry that things have been difficult on you. I hope things get better as the semester progress.

Damia: Yeah, we're glad that she's improving at least.
But I doubt that things will get better... because I know as soon as she gets back, she'll be back to being her usual demanding self, even though she swears that I won't have to do any more than what I agreed to - helping with her dog's eye meds, and my chores around our apartment - but knowing her she'll be asking for more help than that. And right now, I know if she does start asking for more, I'm going to snap. As I've almost come close to snapping a few times. I did not sign up to be her nurse maid... I'm here for school... and she needs to learn that... She's here for school right now, and honestly if she needs this much help doing things right now, I Don't get how or why she's able to stay in the dorms in the first place! >.< Ugh. I'm stressed enough with all of this being new. I've still not really even had time to explore my new school town and I have no life. >.<

Yeah, but I feel like she doesn't realize how hard this is on me, and everyone else that we live with. That it's only affecting her, and that we are able to drop everything and help her whenever she needs it. Which isn't the case.

I remember reading a link you had posted about what was going wrong with her. I can't imagine what either of you have had to deal with. I can imagine that it is very stressful especially when you have just moved to a new town & started school.
I'm a little surprised that she would try to stay in school while undergoing treatment. Seems like it would be better to be at home where family could help her during her recovery.

Damia: Yeah, I did post a link, there has been SO much more going on since that post though. As I was saying to Vanora, I feel like she doesn't really get that it's not just stressful and hard on her, but for all of us, and I seriously know if it goes back to how it was I'm either going to start yelling at her - in sign language mind you - or just say 'I give up.' and go home.
Oh, she'll not be going back to classes this semester, and I agree with you. She needs to be with family but wants to be here, but I know if things get worse, or go back to how they were before she went into surgery, I am going to go insane... -.- Her mom does live out of state, but is staying with her in family housing, where she is now, till the end of the month and she'll be back here at the end of the month... we'll see how things go. But honestly I feel like things will go back to how they were because she's someone who expects everyone to ALWAYS drop everything for her, and we can't do that... -.-

She might be able to help her understand that you all are rather stressed not just her.

Kasumi: Night! Sweet dreams!
Damia: Oh, her mom knows how I feel already. And my roommate says that she understands that I'm stressed, but that was all since she was in the hospital after the surgery and she hasn't been living here. I just have a feeling that it'll all change again when she moves back home again - and more will be expected of me, just like before. Because that's how she is. If that makes sense?
