Hrm...placement = work experience for uni studies. I'm already part way through it so I wouldn't say excited at this stage...but it's something that I need to do, and I've been given tasks to do so it's work that I can work towards.

I see, I see. If the experience is beneficial towards your future goals, then I still wish you good luck!

They don't exactly have placements for the course I recently graduated from. It's a rather tough market as it is. I hope to be able to land a job with mentorship training if possible, though. =w=

I haven't been through a placement before, is it like some kind of internship?

I did placement. More then one actually. Its required for a teaching degree.

I spent 20 weeks in a 3rd grade classroom, 10 weeks in a 5th grade classroom, and 40 weeks in a contained classroom.

Ooh. Yeah, some of my friends went through that too to become teachers. I didn't take the classes so I didn't get placement.

It was fun. Especially the Containment classroom. I learned A LOT in those forty weeks.

Basically its the worse of the worse as far as special needs students are concerned. We had this one kid that used to thrown temper tantrums that ended in biting.

It takes a patience that most people don't have, don't feel bad.

I hope I will one day have the patience to have a kid. I'd be stressed worrying I'd one day snap if the kid does too many stupid things...even though I myself did a bunch of stupid things as a kid.

You'd be surprised. You may not think you'll have the patience. But when the child is your own, it gives you patience with them.

I sure hope so.

*continues saving up*

I wish it weren't so difficult for the younger generation around here. It's almost impossible to save up enough to buy a house or even a small apartment condo with the salaries most people around my age are making. Even if by some miracle we save up enough for a mortgage we'd be paying for it until we're in our seventies or something to clear it. It's no wonder our birth rates are so low when people are barely taking care of themselves. I think we 'won' first place for having the lowest birth rate in the world one year.

I wish! But sadly, no, it didn't.

4am!? That was me two days ago because I was distracted playing a game.

I've accidentally broke my sleeping pattern and I need to try and fix it for next week when I move for uni. I was doing so well (okay like three days) and then I accidentally took a 6 hour nap and woke up at 1am haha

lol Same, though it's more 'staying up too late than I'm supposed to' that's destroyed my sleeping pattern for me.
