Haha, I obviously haven't seen that version...I read the Illustrated version, which included photos of the art pieces that were mentioned, it was a big ass book but good in that way...And that would've been appropriate for the cover.

I'll bet they take a while to design though. o __o;

I imagine so too Antagonist...very clever designs, which generally look rather cool.

I always liked the look of ambigrams. I had seen them in various forms in different places, but I never knew what they were called until I read Dan Brown's stuff.

Yeah, I didn't know they were called ambigrams either...and apparently, neither does Firefox's spell check. It's telling me to change the word to 'trigrams'.

It has been a few years since I read Angels and Demons, which is why I forgot...

No pelting moon cakes, one, it's a waste, and two, that's painful

And tea is an appropriate drink after eating mooncake so that makes sense to me...I just noticed that the knife looks like it's pointing right in the view of the lens D:

You can still eat them!

Lolol. Maybe the photographer was trying to capture "touch my mooncake and I stab you."

They say that hot tea is good after eating rich and/or oily foods. Apparently it helps eleviate the food that is too "hot" 热.

The concept of internal heat and coolness that Chinese people talk about in terms of balance for health...something along the lines of yin and yang, is a hard one to explain...
