Found out my husband has to have some surgery later this month, other than that
my day is okay.

Nothing happened, it's just something that needs to be taken care of.

It has been kinda quiet in this thread lately.
I hope everything goes well with everyone. Things are good here for the most part. :)

The new CI has been released.
Maybe that will liven things up a bit.

Maybe I should contribute to Mene as well and buy some mennies to spend... Do they accept pay pal? I never tried to get mennies before. I only ever spent my money on vampirefreaks... And not just because I'm a graphic designer there

You should do it!
I like the idea of supporting Mene and keeping it free to play.
Especially to those that cannot contribute.

Any chance of buying an extra and selling one to me?

Geez the place you guys live are cold!! It's 29 degrees Celsius here right now. Here I don't think we ever need to worry about having trouble starting up the vehicle in the morning...it never snows unless you go up high into the mountains, and only if you're lucky. Every time one of the mountain snows, the news would mention it and you'd see loads of people flocking up there to see snow.

That's freezing! I'd be all cocooned up in my blankets in bed and not wanting to go to work like that.

lol,
40 degrees is not cold, for Colorado.
When it's -9 and you have to go to work, then it is not fun.

Oh gods and I thought that time when our temperatures dropped to around 10 degrees Celsius was bad enough...

I don't want to live in a place where it snows or ices, that's for sure. I could sleep over 12 hours a day on those cold days. My mom often jokes about my Chinese horoscope being a Snake and needing hibernation and all.

It took me a while to acclimate to this kind of cold, but it's not so bad once you get used to it.
Not fun to have to scrape ice off your car, before you can go home from work though. You
just have to be prepared for it though.

I like it when I have a day off on snowy/icy days.

Yeah, I've seen one of those ice scrapers in a movie once. And people shoveling a path from their doors so they could get out...

That one time when all the leaves and grass iced over when I was living in Houston, Texas, we got a day off. Texas probably doesn't snow a lot so when it did, we get days off because I suppose they didn't have many of those ice remover things for the roads and streets.

I'm sorry, but your first paragraph made me .
Only because it's so commonplace here.

I'm not surprised that you had the day off in Texas. They don't get it nearly
enough to be prepared for it.

Haha I knooow. The weather's way too warm here compared to you guys'.

Yeah. It only iced thickly that one time during the time I was there...sometimes there's light icing over the grass though. I remember me and a bunch of kids like jumping all over the grass and hearing the crunching sounds.
