Eep Getting caught by a superior (retired or not ) is like the stuff of nightmares. ;;;
I'd fallen asleep while walking before and had to be yanked back by a friend before a truck ran me over as I was in the middle of stepping out onto the street to cross it. Luckily I don't think I've been exhausted to that point again since then.

I conked out on my desk once. It was like the 6th day or something like that of not sleeping and I conked out.

thankfully, I have a desk where hardly anyone sees me.

I've got no cover at my office desk, and it's the first place someone coming in through the door would see as it's directly across from it.

so hey guys! I've been sick apparently and friday night i spent essentially all night at the ER (about 11pmish until about 5:30am ish)... yay for kidney infections... not! yay for norco (hydrocodone/tylenol 10-325 tabs)though! no more pain and plenty of sleep :3 also yay for my bf. he's good company even though he's across the country. but mostly yay for pain meds. but yeah... Kidney infections suck...

yeah, i'm fine, just tired and really liking not having pain. today is gonna stink though, i have to work and i can't take any more pain meds after noon which is about when they'll wear off...

Oh, that really sucks.
Kind of reminds me of the time when I went and had a tooth removed...took about an hour off during work to have it pulled, and then went back to work with a wad of cotton in my mouth and a bag of painkillers.

It wasn't too bad but by the time i got home i was hobbling through the door because my back hurt so much. Today is a good day though- my favorite coffee place is having a $1 any medium drink without any limits promotion. i bought my friend a coffee, her daughter a hot cocoa and i got myself two coffees. one's called an ER-911... it has 6 shots of espresso :D and then the other's a white chocolate mocha with cherry. i also added cherry to the ER-911 haha i like cherry. i also want to go back to sleep but i have plans for today i guess.

Hmm... How come I just saw this thread now. I should have posted here earlier this month when my avatar was still naked.

I haven't posted here in a while, but I am doing pretty well. <3

...Though speaking of coffee, I wish we had promotions like that here. I miss drinking coffee but I rarely ever get any because Starbucks is too expensive and I can't drink coffee in the afternoon unless I want to be zombie-eyed all the way past 3 in the morning.
