I'm doing alright I guess, have a bit of a headache. @@
You?
@Wren: Haha I'm not afraid of most birds, I can't see why some people are, their bones are brittle and easy to break if one actually does try to attack...unless it's an eagle or something like that with big talons and all. And of course ostriches and emus who could probably kick you half way across the room...xDD;;

Ugh. I feel really terrible for people with season allergies - or just allergies in general. I hope they get better, or rather, that you get relief soon.

Oh, I'd probably be wary around condors and vultures; they're pretty large. Crows are okay, as long as it's not by the hundreds... ;;
Hope your allergies get better Kirin. Not sure if I have seasonal allergies or if it's just the pollution but my nose is rarely ever completely clear for breathing these days.

Do you guys believe that if someone says they don't have then they will hVe? Like saying, 'I never get pimples on my face!' And the next day you get all the darn pimples but anyway, I'll take the risk and say that I don't have any allergies, seasonal or whatever
---------- Post added 05-05-2014 at 08:40 AM ----------
Well now that I think of it, we don't have seasons here

lol Like jinxing yourself? I sometimes have that happen, but mostly I just think it's coincidence.
...Yeah, don't really have seasons here either. Possibly something like a cool spring/autumn, and summer. Mostly summer. *burns*

Yup. And people here believe it is true. I don't know about that, though. But I do believe in.. Evil eye? I think that's what it is called. We say 'kannooru' which when you translate it is 100 eyes and well, it makes no sense
I saw your avi just now it's awesome!
That's what we have too. Tropical climate? When it is winter in the other countries it is a tad cooler. Summer a little hotter. Spring a bit more lovelier. Autumn I don't know, haven't seen those orange leaves here

It's burning hot where I'm living at the moment. I wish I live in a cold place.
I've never had any allergies too and was pretty proud of that until I needed to have my wisdom tooth extracted. Because of that, my dentist and I found out I'm allergic to the local anesthesia that he uses. So, he wouldn't agree on pulling my tooth from fear that I might die at his clinic. He told me to go to the hospital and have my tooth extracted there. xD

Why would you want to have your wisdom tooth extracted?

Because all four of my wisdom teeth are impacted, they're moving/growing in a wrong position which will just give me pain in the end.
They were only able to extract one though. My teeth are really tough and they had trouble pulling it out, it took three dentists xD after one hour, they decided to not extract my other 3 for now because I was also a bleeder, I easily lose a lot of blood. That was quite an experience xD

That is what makes it amusing hmm I don't know about 'the sign of the evil eye', but they say like, for example you have a cute little baby, and people look at him/her with.. Not really evil thoughts, but think you're all cute and chubby and beautiful, with a tinge of envy. The baby then starts getting tummy aches sometimes, or little pimple like things on the body. My grandpa used to recite or do something which would make it to away and trust me, many a time he had cured my such stuff too I don't know whether I really can believe it though XD but here for that reason some people put lame little black dot like thing on the baby's face which supposedly 'gets rid of evil eyes' and then make them wear little plastic black bangles, which are usually cut once the baby grows and it becomes difficult to remove. Or tie a black thread like thing on the neck. I haven't been subjected to these kinds of stuff though, but my little sister had black bangles until she was quite old, though I guess my mum only put it because it looked nice and here they even hide the milk powder cans of babies, in fear that if some poor person sees them their child might get the evil eye
Ouch antie I somehow started to imagine a mental picture with your cheeks having little hills like where your teeth is poking from the inside

@Lexa
We've the same beliefs here! We don't hide our milk though. Those necklaces you mentioned however is the same here. My sisters and I wore it when we were kids. :3 Every time a person comments on the way we look, for example, "What a beautiful girl," the person should then say "Buyag" so that the girl won't grow up ugly. xD
@Antagonist
We have similar wisdom teeths! xD The dentists told me that for my three other remaining wisdom teeth they'll have to bring me to the operating room since it'll be easier for them to really work on extracting my teeth without me conscious and tearing up and turning pale from all the blood loss and the pain. The only local anesthesia that I wasn't allergic to really didn't stop me from feeling any pain. They injected me 4 or 5 time with the local anesthesia in one hour because I could feel the pain moments later.
Well, I decided not to go back. I'm scared thinking what might happen to me while I'm unconscious at the operating table. My family dentist, the one who wouldn't extract my tooth and told me to go to the hospital, had a bad experience when he was still an intern years ago. He said the patient turned out to be allergic to anesthesia and the doctor and nurses around him hurried to save the patient because I think they can only save a patient who's allergic to anesthesia in less than 5 minutes before he dies.
The only way I'll ever go back to have my remaining wisdom teeth removed is when they start giving me pain. For now, they've been chill so I'm quite grateful about that. xD

Buyag? We say Masha' Allah here
And what about those very very scary jinx like things? Here there are some people whom, given access to a part of our hair, strand of clothes, or our personal things like that, can make use of them to do something bad for us. Like give us a sweet with something mixed in it and you get tummy aches, the doctors can't diagnose it, and you die sometimes. It's scary stuff D:
I hope your tooth will never ever cause any pain that way you won't have to visit the scary operation theaters!

Ooh, I see. So evil eye's like some kind of ill will intent that sort of manifests itself and is able to affect people or things negatively.
Yeah...I think I'll just leave my wisdom teeth alone for now for as long as possible. ;; I already sort of regret removing that other tooth, even though it had been bugging me for a while because it was sore all the time for no apparent reason.

You can call it that
All this tooth about dentist reminds me: Dentist appointment. TODAY. a small cavity or something. It's not hurting, but the doc told me it is better to fill it before it starts to hurt. So I have to go. In another 30 minutes

Should you have to say good luck with ? I don't like it too all those ugly machines and having water put down on your mouth they are the worst, they inspect you as if you were in the operation theater even for a very minor thing I even flinch when a dentist mirror is put inside my mouth

Grr I got my teeth poked and subjected to all sorts of beautiful treatments and he took a look at the x-Rays of my two teeth and told me my mouth is abnormal I don't see any abnormalities in my mouth and neither does he but the x-rays seems to be telling otherwise, and he says maybe I was born with such kind of cyanosis or something like that Well abnormality can be my middle name
